@PinkFloyd2003 ACII more polished? I remember as ACII with your own villa for the first time getting money and buying better weapons and you kill the pope at the end. To me the first game was "okay" but very repetitive. ACII was a pretty big improvement over the first. Every AC game since then was incredibly minor. The guys at UBI are basically using the same stuff in different ways to get your money.
most people here sound like Star Trek TOS fans when the Next Generation was announced. I was one of those fans screaming "NO!" However, Picard and crew turned out to be an incredible cast, worthy of the Star Trek brand. To be screaming "don't do it!" shows how narrow minded you guys are!
Why doesn't Microsoft just buy Gamestop? They can sell their own used games and make a profit this quarter, instead of the $400 million plus loss they just did.
@aussiemuscle The problem is they are selling it side by side with the new game. This is the biggest concern of publishers. "People are not buying our new game for 60 bucks, they are buying the used game for 55. We wont be making money on that sale" That is how the publishers see it. It is a problem, whether you agree or not. There is no easy answer on this. I believe that developers and publishers should get paid for their work. I believe people have the right to sell what they own. I HATE the profit gauging that Gamestop does. People have just accepted this. I dont blame 360 and PS3 to try and block used games on the next console.
