Not sure how this became normal A seasons pass, and no one knows if the product is good. People will pay money for the "hope" that it's worth it. If truly sucks, can we get a refund? I'm only asking because I've never bought a seasons pass. Next thing will be micro transactions inside the DLC.

So I buy a game on disc and then have to pay some more money for the "pro patch"? This is going to be a nightmare. There's already a few games that have gotten delayed as developers get their games "pro mode" This console did not need to exist. (Maybe needed for VR) They had such a good thing going with PS4, now they've complicated things.

The PS4 Pro is Completely Unnecessary. It's a small step that tells me the Pro was needed for VR. This is going to be bad.

@chris120379: I don't think the PS4 Pro does 'true' 4k gaming. I think it 'upscales'

@Thanatos2k: Of coarse you are baffled. Perhaps I didn't iterate well enough. I do hear and understand your point. I just don't share it. I use to be a PC gamer, spend thousands of dollars per year on upgrades to video cards, ram and processors. All this to pick the best resolution allowed to me on a video game. I switched to Console gaming to avoid this.

@Thanatos2k: Yes, Console and PC are the same. That speaks volumes concerning your mind.

@Thanatos2k: You still don't get it. I was not lying you moron. Both NEO and PS4 versions will be on one disc. Your mind simply cannot conceive that this will split the 40 million owners of a PS4. I would be happier with a PS5 in a few years rather then a small step upgrade to simply satisfy their VR release. Microsoft Scorpio is coming out at the same time, and the specs suggest it will be 40 times more powerful then the NEO. Now Sony has to respond to this with a more powerful NEO, or risk losing customers. Why should I buy a NEO when a more powerful console is around the corner, and thus, expand my game library. If you are going to comment on a post, please read them first.

@Thanatos2k: You are going around in circles. You are comparing PC to Console gaming, as you once compared Consoles to Operating Systems. I know there is only one game. The NEO will be incredible at 1080p with 60 frames per second while the 40 million second hand gamers will get a crapier 30 frames per second and 1080p if they

're lucky.

This sends a bad preeminence.

@Thanatos2k: The biggest difference is that Xbox360 didn't have 2 versions of the same game. Gamers were treated equally. I have always known that consoles were just cheap PC.

@Thanatos2k: That is exactly the problem. If I wanted different tier systems for a game, I would not do console gaming. I would go back to PC, where upgrades are common. When Sony releases the PS4.5, or whatever it will be called, they will instantly create 40 million SECOND HAND gamers. All of this, of course, is because the PS4 cannot handle the VR the way they want it to.

Are you saying that it would be okay to release a more powerful console every year or two?

I would've liked it better if Sony would state "Yes, console life will be changing to three to five years rather than seven to ten." This will be tricky PR for Sony. I have seen a comment like "It is intended to sit alongside and complement the standard PS4," he continued. "We will be selling both [versions] through the life cycle.

They never said what the life span was.
