Isn't it good to have an exclusive title for a console release? Too bad Steam doesn't have any titles that people would think are a MUST have as a console exclusive.
This is one of those series that I think in an iteration or two will be all the rage. The devs will get the game play down to a science, they will make it more accessible, tons of people will buy it and then there will be more people than actually played 1 and 2 show up on forums to tell people how the arma games now weren't as hardcore as the ones they played.
@horselessheadsm What says it all is that he was CEO of MLG. That was back when MLG just wanted to turn eSports into a quick hit cash cow. He wasn't running MLG out of some greater love for the games like Evo does. Now that I know where this dude came from originally, I am not so sure that the f2p debacle that is SW:ToR's f2p model is EA's fault.
The game will be amazing except that if you want to use a Star Wars character in the game you have to buy a character for $10 and put it on a portal to activate it. You also have to pay full box price, an online pass and pay for a Gold or Plus membership.
I am all about it if it has more structure than Red Dead's multiplayer or GTA 4's. Those games were fun in short bursts, but let's face it, the community for these games can be terrible in general. Would be great if I could play with just my friends on both sides, but playing with "XX-420Gangsta69-XX" with his mic turned on all the time while his little brother screams into it is never any fun. Ever. And he's always online.
