What if we really do want a "slums" section? How much will they charge for a cardboard box? Or, if someone buys a new Bravia for their virtual home, can they donate the empty box to me? _sephex_
Ridge Racer 7 has split screen. If you never played a Ridge Racer game before it takes a while to get used to the driving style required, it's all about crazy drifting, but I definately recommend it.
I know, it sucks, there´s no other word to describe it, sorry. It seems the majority of the developers (or producers?) think online should be the only way for multiplayer gaming. I'll guess we'll just have to stick to Burnout Revenge for a while longer.
Sounds interesting and it would be great to finally have an RTS on my PS3; but I'll wait until the game is out to know more about the gameplay before making a decision.
Yes, I would like to have more 2-player split screen games,either co-op or vs. I'm playing Resistance in co-op now with a friend and it's more fun than the solo campaign.
I think the case is with GH3 (and Rock Band) that it's not because of the cost. Rather, it's more about signalresponse. Bluetooth is still somewhat prone to dropouts and such. I believe Harmonix (developer of RB) has mentioned at one point they chose to use their wireless tech (I think is derivative of RF signals) so that if a player fails a song, it's due to their skill rather than due to equipment cutting out on them.jt4mtb
The Sixaxis controllers communicate with the PS3 via bluetooth and I haven't noticed any dropouts. I thinkHarmonix just didn't want to invest money and time developing a bluetooth based controller.
