LOL. I found this article and thought it may be an interesting read for PC gamers, so thats why I posted it in the PC forum. If I want to start a PC vs console war I would have posted it in the console forums. Now thats an idea. ;)

I have played both of the demos and I thought Crysis was far better. COD4 was just too linear, go where you told on a certain path. I have just ordered Crysis.

I used this site, got some good improvments from it. Go to page 8 advanced tweaking. http://www.tweakguides.com/Oblivion_1.html

Its going to be a LONG time before you can upgrade to the next xbox. Microsoft are barely making any profit on the current xbox. I'm just going to continue to upgrade my pc every year and stay at the top of the pack.

I have these game demos and a 8800gtx, and don't have the res problem you get, in either xp or Vista. Obviously make sure you have the latest driver for your card. Also see if you can get a driver for your monitor.

[QUOTE="homebrew197516"]Anyway, if you have Vista don't bother with this game as it will only run for a couple of mins even with the 1.4 patch. ADG_
Works fine with Vista here

Interseting. I have a duel boot machine and it works no problem in XP, but I can only play it for a couple of min in Vista before it drops back to the desktop. I have all latest driver etc.

Its undestandable really. The 360 is based on 3 year old PC technology and therefore significantly easier to develop on. While the PS3 is technically superior to the 360, its going to be much harder to devolop on.

I have a 360 controler hooked up to my PC. I only use it to play DiRT on my 92" projector screen. Does the job nicely!
