This article has a hugely negative Xbox slant on it. Everything that he said took a glass-half-empty approach. Titan Fall looked excellant, MGS coming to Xbox is huge, Forza 5 looks arguably better than GT5 and why wouldn't you make another Halo following the last iterations huge success?

@emperiox @harrry95 You'll get over it. Ironside's voice was rad but the new one isn't too bad. I think the gameplay and fantastic story will offset any initial off put.
The PS4 is undoubtably a solid console but the February 20 unveiling was hardly "outstanding". Apart from revealing a simplified architecture and some impressive first party exclusives, most other announcements were either hit-and-miss at this stage (Capcom's presentation, the humiliating demo from Media Molecule) or downright gimmicks (controlling a friends game virtually or streaming their on-screen action) which will no doubt be riddled with latency problems.
Details about Microsoft's next console have been sparse and virtually nothing is known about its features apart from the apparent 'always on' system. The discontent about this issue is nothing but a load of hot air created by devout Playstation fans looking to trash Microsoft's next Xbox before it has even been unveiled.
Why is there a correlation between the problems with Sim City's online servers (which resulted from a lack of planning and investment by EA) and this possible 'always on' feature? Microsoft is one of the most powerful, profitably software and hardware company is the world and has proven since the original Xbox's inception over a decade ago that they can successfully run an online service (Xbox Live) without a hitch, in contrast to Sony's woeful Playstation Network (lets not forget the horrendous outage caused by hackers not too long ago).
For once try and assess both these consoles on their merit when they have BOTH been unveiled instead of buying into this childish CONSOLE WAR manufactured by 14 year old boys who are desperately proving to the world that their purchase was the right one.
Give Microsoft a chance to sell the idea of alway's on DRM and showcase their new console before writing it off like this biased, piece of trash on PSU urges you to.
