Clarification for those who are confused. This isn't beta testing or QA testing. They have their own dedicated staff for that. This is for consumers to try features they've added to get feedback. I've done it multiple times and all they want is our opinion on new features. We play it a specific way, then tell them our genuine thoughts on it. We got to talk with the developers and producers about it. I feel this is pivotal in creating the best experience possible.
@Ryuuken27 This isn't a beta test. This is a playtest. Huge difference. I was a playtester for a major company for a while. All they want is our feedback on features they're adding. Not helping to fix bugs and whatnot. What does being an 'idiot' have to do with that? These idiots are the ones buying the game. This feedback is invaluable. Nice effort on your pseudo-rant, though.
I say 100% yes games help fight depression. Danny is spot on with it being a coping mechanism. It has helped me get through many tough times since being diagnosed with a chronic illness. It all snowballs and can get really tough. When things were dark, firing up a game for a couple hours helped myself immerse into a world and take my mind off of things going on around me. It wasn't a way to escape them completely, but a way to focus on something to make me happy if even for a bit. Thank you for this video, GS.
Should have been done from day one. Skip a year to truly (attempt to)innovate the genre. Every sports game should be like this. Give the team time to come up with new ideas or work on mechanics. All it seems now is rush each game out with updated rosters and not much else.
@Rush_Gremlin As he said, this is a recreation of an historic battle that didn't have thousands of men. So why would it? And it is also still in pre-alpha stage, so I doubt that they can even do that yet.
@kolz4ever @hagens09 @youngnastyyman @emgesp There you go again talking about stuff not being implied whatsoever. How is me pointing out your misdirection me trying to sound smart? And now you use the term nub, yet called the other poster a kid for using rump? If anything, that is an older generation term. I pity you...
