Maken X - DC. Super-mint.

Less bizarre than the other MegaTen (and related) games, but fun. I wouldn't mind a sequel.

How is Popolocrois for PSP? I remember an otaku/vg import junkie I knew back in my uni rave endlessly when one of the ps1 games came out (Popolocrois 3, I think?)

Yep, Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, it happens a few years after the events of Castlevania #: Draculas Curse. It's getting a dual release for Playstation 2 and xbox, i plan on buying both of them because i'm that much of a castlevania whore. By the way Doc, you're best off checking out ebay for Aria of Sorrow and Harmony of Dissonance, those games are becomming stupidly difficult to find. I had to drive all over ontario to get my copies. [edit] I should also mention that my PS2 Flip Top Case came in the mail this morning, when i get home i'll be able to assemble it and i'll finally be able to play the imported PS2 games I have.propyro

Doc, HoD is garbage. AoS is amazing.

If you have to ebay it, just get AoS and wait for the HoD price to drop (presumably after the DS game has been out a few months). They've both become very pricey of late.

Hmmm, i guess that could be considered pretty impressive. I never really liked star fox though.propyro

me either.

The only 3d flight sim/shooter I ever really loved was tie fighter.

I nearly failed out of HS because of that game.

Meh, i can't relaly enjoy it ... 16-bit combat flight sim. Sure, it's impressive for it's day. But i dont' even think i'd have been able to enjoy it while it was new either. Not my kind of game, i was really hoping for a side scrolling shooter (ie 1943), but i don't think EA did any of those ... unless you count the Dessert Strike series ... which i actually like.propyro

ever play dragon spirit? great nes vertical shooter.

Dark Wizard. Sega CD.

Now I just need to find an ac adapter for my sega cd. The person I ordered an adapter from last week sent me the wrong one.

edit: but interestingly enough, it's the 32x one, which i need anyway along with the gen interface cable. i'd rather have the sega cd one though. the 32x really, really sucks.

LCD cleaning tip.

This is useful for anyone who uses an lcd (ie:psone) for gaming but it applies to PC's as well.

Mix a solution of water and isopropyl alcohol 50/50 an use a soft rag. It's what most of the lcd cleaning solutions sold in stores are anyway.

[QUOTE="guinness4life"]dropkick murphys, flogging mollypropyro
I saw flogging molly live, they performed with Throw Rag in a small club, both bands kicked ass and put up an awesome live performance. One of these day's I'll get to see the DKM's, my sister is also hell bent on going to one of their shows.

I was voulenteering at a star trek convention and i was at the "dance" and the DJ decided to play a remixed version of the SMB soundtrack ... watching the people on the dance floor try to dance to it physically hurt me.

Trekkies and dancing? Sweet Jesus, what a bad idea.

tell me about it.

Yeah, I've been meaning to see FM, but the last time they were around here it was the warped tour. I hate kids, so I took a pass. Hopefully they'll play a decent bar in the area soon. DKM put on a good show. I wish I saw them with the vocalist before al barr though. I liked him better.
