Dark Cloud - 6 USD

USM has been surprisingly difficult to find for a current gen game. So far, it's pretty good if you like sandbox games.

I'm looking for Sim/Theme Park games for a friend who just got an xbox. For some reason these games never seem to be classified uniformly so I can't get a definitive list.

So far she has Jurassic Park Operation Genesis and all the Sims ones. She's probably getting Pirates, Rollercoaster Tycoon or Thrillville.

Suggestions? I don't normally play this genre.

Every other porn movie has "blue" in the title. It was what they used to call porn movies - "blue" movies. Cyber was in a bunch too when the internet first came online. The rest are self-explanatory. C'mon, Amber: Journeys Beyond sounds like a porn movie if I ever heard of one. Persona : Eternal Punishment sounds like a bondage flick. Siren is what you'd call an alluring female. I think there actually is a softcore movie named that, in fact.

 I haven't watched one of these movies since about 10-15 years ago, so they may have different types of names now. Probably much more direct.

Do you have the G&W game collections for GB and GBC? They were pretty good. Also, the real G&W handhelds make really nice showpieces ie: I have a panorama from waaaaay back.

Not brand new but recent,

Obscure (Xbox), Haunting Ground (ps2), Fatal Frame 3 (ps2), Riviera (GBA), all the Shadow Hearts Games.

Obscure is becoming, well obscure. It's a really good SH clone (better than SH4 was). Despite the budget pricing of 19.99, I've already seen it selling for twice that. Haunting Ground is another good survival horror game a la Clock Tower with minimal action. Rule of Rose is kind of similar to it, though HG came first. FF3 just completely fell off the radar. I've been waiting for the XB version but it doesn't look like that's happening since it's been nearly 2 years. So now the survival horror collectors (myself included) are scrambling to find copies at less than full retail. It's gotten tough to find, especially for less than 50 USD new.

20 is much too little. 25-40 is more reasonable for a complete copy. If you ebay it, you'll probably find a nice copy for 25-35. I paid 20 (discounted from 25) a year or so ago. Got it at blockbuster on one of their 3 for 2 sales. Sealed, expect to pay 50+ easily.

BG2 used to be pricey and fairly rare (40-60+ was common), but then Gamequestdirect did a re-press, but it only really brought the price down about $20 since there's still a fairly large demand.

Vanguard Bandits. Sealed. Super Mint condition.$30. I'm tempted to flip the sucker on ebay, but I couldn't resist buying it.

Also purchased Condemned 360 $30, Phoenix Wright:AA, American Idol $12, RLH $7, Sega Genesis Collection, Godfather (PC) $10, Castlevania:PoR (which rocks, btw) . Nice week for stuff, glad I received my bonus (FINALLY).

Anyone buy Devil Summoner and know if it's any good? Those maze like levels in DDS drove me up a wall. Loved SMT:N though, but I never have time to really play it between work and life. I'm waiting for a price drop, but might just pick it up with the pain in the neck those SMT games become to find. Debating between that one and Radiata Stories. I want an Rpg that's fairly short.

The people at gamestop think I'm crazy too. They were trying to sell me a halo 3 preorder. Then I bought a bunch of games they never heard of. Then they tried selling me a halo 3 preorder again.

It's tough to find lately. You'll probably have to trade or buy from a collector or ebay. Otherwise, you're probably SoL. Did you try the GS store locator?

I have a super-mint copy (opened, but barely played complete with warranty, etc), but due to current demand and relative scarcity, I won't be parting with it for cash. But of course if you have something rare to trade for on my wanted list, that might be another story entirely.
