Ah, thanks! I'll post in that one from here out.

Really though, that has to be a glitch or something. There's no way only 14 people bought a duck hunt knockoff for wii. Duck Hunting has copies at Kmart.

[QUOTE="cosmostein77"]

Baten Kaitos Origins (GC) x 2 NEW 14.99

I am not sure if I am the only one who has had a hard time finding a new copy of this, or even a good condition used copy but I walked into Toys R Us and there were two of them in the bargin bin. I will leave one sealed and "play" the other

gmsnpr

I had a hard time finding a new one at a price I was willing to pay.

How is that game? I really liked the first one, but never got a chance to finish it. I never get a chance to play JRPGs anymore.

I just checked mine, and in a turn of events that blows me away, it's "Ultimate Duck Hunting" with 14 people. I would've guessed Noctropolis or Bloodnet.

Am I really the only person that's played that game? I figure it would be popular. It's pretty decent.

LOL. I'll have to shell out the $1.99 and get drake one of these days.

Sometimes bad games are great. Look at Shaq Fu and Violence Fight. I play through Shaq Fu whenever I need a laugh.

Games I've been searching for the longest, but haven't worked up the desire to swollow the cost on yet are: Dreamfall: The Longest Journey (Xbox), Stubbs the Zombie (Xbox), Pinball of the Dead (GBA), and the Fatal Frame games for Xbox.someNONSENSE

Dreamfall's Amazing. Definitely get that. It's hard to find now? Are you looking for PAL or NTSC? Would you consider the PC version? I can probably point you a couple of places that have that. Wouldn't make much difference since it's not an action game.

Stubbs the Zombie, to be honest isn't really worth looking for. Great graphics, but that's about it.

I'm having a hard time finding FF3 for ps2. I was holding out for an xbox re-release so I never got it. Are you still looking for FF games?

I'm having a VERY hard time finding typing of the dead. Which is annoying because I could've purchased it for about $10 the last time I saw it.

I think there are 2 other kinds of collectors here that haven't really been mentioned.

"Library" types, which I think are really cool, who pretty much just want to collect an entire collection for a system more or less the same reason the library has stuff (rather than in an obsessive/completist way of just buting everything to say they have everything) and enjoy gaming-as-culture. There are a couple on here. I'm not one of them, though.

I think there are a few folks like me who prefer a certain genre i.e. for me it's survival horror (i.e. just got obscure 2, which aspro gave me the heads up) . I know there are some (hardcore) JRPG and fighting folks genre collectors on here too.

Oh thx for the suggestions and the link, btw.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Hey guys and gals,

I'm a teacher. Recently I got a new job facilitating computer and job skills with adults with intellectual and developmental disablities (in plain english - Special Ed with computers, for grown-ups). So here's my problem - I'm stuck with ungodly old PCs (I've been upgrading them, but my budget is virtually nothing and I have to spend a lot of it on input devices). My PC's are ungodly terrible. Every one has an integrated card (which I'm working on fixing), so most new programs will not run.

I could use some suggestions on older windows XP compatible games and job training software that are simple i.e. efficient in terms of mouse movements and appropriate for adults (e.g no Reader Rabbit stuff, more along the lines of Mavis Beacon, etc). It's be great if they can be run w/out the CD too because I have several consoles rather than PC's (which are really, really slow). Crazy, I know, but I didn't set it up. Last computer teacher was an idiot.

I was thinking of Typing of the Dead. Is that still on gametap? I was considering getting a membership to it for my institution. I really, really don't like leaving CD's around because there's one or two consumers with Pica who will try to eat them, leading to CRC problems.

Well, I figured if anyone would know, you folks would.

thanks for any help,

Mike

P.S. feel free to PM me as well.

IMO $138 is ridiculous. It's rare, but not that rare.

Double jewel case w/soulbringer or original box?
