Shouid Christopher Nolan (the director of the very good and successive movie Batman Begins, and the director of the new Batman movie: The Dark Knight) return for third movie in the caped crusader's legacy. Do you think he will? Why?

He should definitely return. He made by far the best Batman movie ever, and the Dark Knight looks to be a classic movie, which will be extremely successful, especially because of::twisted: I hope Nolan returns and makes a 3rd movie with the Penguin as the villain.

I've played Resistance, and it was okay. I own Burst Limit. The Story mode is crap, and you can beat it in a couple of hours. There is a lot of replayability though, with different trials to go through. The online mode is fun, but you get lag on internationial matches, and sometimes it is hard to find a session, so you can create one yourself. I didn't enjoy Burst Limit as much as I thought I would, but it is a 7.5-8 in my book. I played Resistance for like one mission on the campaign, and I didn't really have time to enjoy it. I'd try Resistance, because DBZ will come down a lot, and you can get Resistance used at Gamestop, way cheaper. I'd go for resistance.

It wouldn't be surprising It will probably get at least a 9. but I kinda feel they are handing out perfect scores too easily I mean a 10 implies that the game is perfect and lets be perfectly honest nothing is perfect. but I guess its better than giving it a 9.6. a 9.6 is so close to a 10 you might as well give it one but whos to say a game that scores .4 points higher is really that much betterruffluffs
In Gamespot's description of a "10" it says the game is perfect by the era's standards. I guess MGS4 and GTAIV were the best games anyone could make by today's standards. I don't have a PS3, so no MGS4, and I never liked GTA

1. SOCOM CONFRONTATION
2. Tom clancys END WAR
3. Little Big Planet
KOAN_SCE

I forgot about Endwar. I saw a clip from Start Stage in Paris, and it incredible. The Voice commands seemed to work seemlessly.

[QUOTE="CarnageHeart"]I happened to greatly enjoy the two games that have gotten 10s from reviewers this year, but reviews are an art, not a science, so I pay little attention to numerical scores and a lot of attention to reviewers' takes on a game's strengths and weaknesses.SteelAttack

This is something that can't be stressed enough. I respect anyone giving any amount of weight into reviews, whatever their source might be, but it puzzles me to watch people focusing only in the score, and never looking past the numerical value and into the review itself.

I know. They should only tell you a games numerical rating at the end of a review. That's what I loved about Greg Kasavin, and Jeff Gertzman: they didn't have general numbers like 9.5 or 9 they had 9.1 9.2 8.7 9.4 9.7 , and their reviews were between 8 and 12 minutes. They gave a very detailed review, and an even more detailed score. Now they just say stuff for MOST games (not GTA IV or MGS4), and what they say doesn't give a clear picture about the game.

What are your 3 most anticipated games for the rest of 2008?

Starcraft II (if it comes out in 2008 ), Force Unleashed, and Fracture for me. If Starcraft II doesn't come out in 2008, then maybe Space Siege, or Fable II.

Starcraft II. Spore is way too diferent, and is the first in a series (Metal of Gear Solid 4) (GTAIV). Or maybe Gears of War II. For a while Gears of War was the highest rated game until Crysis. I think Starcraft II or Gears of War II. I'll through Fable II in there, but I doubt it.

[thread derail] I'd also like to take a moment to whine about the fact that I haven't played a good Batman game since the Batman on the old school Gameboy. This is a travesty. [/thread derail]

rragnaar

Batman Begins was a pretty Good Game a lot like the Bourne Conspiracy, but Batman Begins had awesome sound effects.

Getting back to Marvel... It seems that when they are given control of their own destiny they are bery successful. I would like to see Marvel make a game solo. It would be very interesting............
