I used the wrong phrase when I did my initial forum search :). I have read the thread you've provided the link for and have messaged customer support as required. Thanks for your help.

Hi,

I don't seem to be able to access forums associated with individual games. I can post on the regular forums, but not ones associated with individual games. This seems to be a new (and unfortunate) development. Can this issue be resolved for me?

Thanks :)

A mis-conception. If something is not mentioned in a book, what does that indicate? It indicates that the book is silent on that matter or neutral to it. The Quran, nor Bible, mentions that videogames do not exist. If this was mentioned then there would have been a contradiction.

MFaraz_Hayat

I was being facetious. And there is absolutely nothing you can say that will make me believe that the Qu'ran, Bible, Torah or any other religious books for that matter are anything but man made. I need cold hard evidence. Unfortunately for you none exists.

[QUOTE="CombatHigh"] Lol, im talking about q'uran, not selling our daughters to slavery.MFaraz_Hayat

I wasn't talking about that either. :P

If I recall correctly, you said that you will comment on one of my previous posts where the Quran explicitly states the embryonic stages and they were proven by modern science. In fact, a non-muslim scientist conducted research on the basis of those very verses and found them 100% accurate.

1) It is all in the interpretation.

2) And that still does not constitute proof that God exists.

Because...?Solid_Snake325

Because I'd assume if there was, then why wouldn't everyone believe in evolution? And please don't say it's only Christians, because many atheists do not accept evolution. Not only that but the site could be completely unreliable, biased, misinformed, etc.

There are plenty of articles in widely respected scientific journals that state that evolution is a fact. It was 3am and I honestly couldn't be bothered hitting the IEEE database looking for some. Not that you would have believed them anyway. Oh well, I just hope that people who share your belief about evolution are in the minority and not the majority (which would truly be a frightening thought :P).

No one was able to disprove a single verse on here or any where and one ever can, that is absolute

CombatHigh

Sure no one can disprove a single verse here, but then again no one can prove a single verse here either. So who is right? The believers or the non-believers? BTW neither the Bible or the Qu'ran mention videogames. So I guess they don't exist as well :(.

I am like you. Although I don't know if I can call myself agnostic ("confused" would be the best word :P), my general opinion is that it is very likely that a diety exists but I find that the imageries of god as presented by religions are not how this diety would be. And I am anti-religious (not against the notion in general, but how it is at the moment). :)

Yep that pretty much sums my view up :D. Anyway I am off to bed. Goodnight :).

[QUOTE="Teenaged"]Forgive me I just woke up. What are you trying to say because I just can't function right now.

LOL. You just woke up and it's way past my bedtime :P. I agree with you. Stranger_4 is being very hypocritical about what he treats as "unacceptable" bias. His pro-Islamic bias is fine, and any other bias isn't. I just wanted to state that we are all motivated by personal bias. That does not mean he can dismiss scientific fact as nonsense just because the scientist is "biased". On the other hand Stranger_4 has provided absolutely no facts to prove the existence of God (and I don't think he or anyone else can). His faith (his bias) alone is not fact, and he refuses to accept that.

Oh trust me I too believe that neither side can prove its position (I am a "fence-sitter" after all). I just try to debate with people who find the most absurd things and baptise them as proof. "Thou art now proof" :P

I am a fence-sitter too when it comes to the existence of God. I do know however, that I don't believe in the various organized religions that claim to provide an insight into God. In my opinion that is all just human rhetoric :P.

[QUOTE="frazzle00"]

Every action some one carries out is motivated by personal bias, whether that be belief in an organized religion, or the scientific pursuit of knowledge. However this personal bias is not relevant when something can be scientifically proven as a fact by multiple sources. Despite the heated philosophical debate that has raged over the previous dozen or so pages, I really don't think any one can PROVE either the existence or non-existence of God.
