In all honesty the PSN being down hasn't effected me that much at all. If it had to happen, it happen during the right time. The end of the school year where, and when my work was picking up.

I m guessing that it will be up sometime after Sony meets with the House of Representatives, anywhere from a week to 1 more month.

[QUOTE="Ngamer05"]Hell, even if they had to trade down to deem him more worthy of the pick, I would be all for it. Ryder004

Carolina is stuck with the #1 pick whether they like it or not. Because there is no one worth trading up that high for.

Unless a rookie salary cap is impossed, which is a good possibility since the owners and the players don't seem to mind that.  In that case the draft will change some.  The top pick will be tradeable again.

If that is the case I wouldn't be surprised to see someone trade up with Carolina to get A.J. Green.  I am not completely sold on Gabbert, or Newton.  Gabbert instantly became the top QB because Luck did not come out.  Honestly, I don't know that he is realitically better than Clausen.

I think Fairley, or Bowers are better choices for Car.  I do wonder if a deal would be made with NE and Car where Car sends the top pick to them for one of their firsts and a second.

I am definately excited, for the biggest football operations weekend of the year.  Though its early, I don't think that the panthers will go with a QB.  I don't know how good Gabbert is, I think I have only seen him play 1-2 times, but the consenseus seems to be he is a top 5 pick.

What are the odds Oak drafts Cam Newton?  Big arm, athletic and unproven.  Had the best pro day a QB has had since Russell.

Like this is even gonna help them. The season is over, Brett just wants to retire right now, and right now instead of worrying about this crap i'm worried that my boy Vince will be kicked out of Tennessee!SonicRenegade84

I think your boy will probably have to leave Ten.  I just don't see Young having the maturity or emotional stability to be an NFL QB.   Fisher may walk and take another job, maybe the Dallas Job if Garrett doesn't finish strong.

I think the only man to believe T. Jack was the answer got fired.  I think the Vikings need to squeeze what they can out of Favre and start working in Webb.  Start with some wildcat or something and get him some snaps.  It is a good possibility that there could be a great deal of turnover on that roster.  There are a lot of veteran players that aren't playing up to there pay.

Who knows, we may not have football next year, so a lot of rosters could be different.

I know I'm too late, but I have them taking Okung. They already acquired Corey Williams and Hill started to shine last year. THey don't need Suh.

They do need Okung. They face Jared Allen, Julius Peppers and Clay Matthews twice each. And they don't have a good LT. They have to get Okung to protect him, or else Stafford will continue to get smashed.

Goliath_unit

They may or may not take Okung, but please don't say need.  You never draft for need this high in the draft.

[QUOTE="Ngamer05"][QUOTE="Ryder004"][QUOTE="Bobbles"]

And here's Todd's latest mock draft:

1. St. Louis Rams: Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahomo

2. Detroit Lions: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska

Ryder004

wow. and he is an "expert"?

tbh, I actually like McShay more than Kiper. He just seems to give more indepth analysis when looking at prospects and teams needs each offseason.

ya but McCoy over Suh is..........stupid

It depends on the defense.  I prefer Suh over McCoy, but not by much.  I think McCoy would be better suited to play in the Tampa 2 or as a DE in a 3-4 scheme, where Suh could probably play in just about anything.

[QUOTE="bobwjr"]Back on the Tebo subject....I'll go against all you parrots who read some sports column and then repeat it as if it were your own deep thoughts from a shallow mind. There was another guy who "was too short..bad throwing set up..played in a shotgun wide open system offense" and those are the words about him by the same sports guys whining about Tebo. I'm sure yall would be parroting about him too. By the way you can catch him next Sunday qb'ing in the Super Bowl for the Saints. Tebo will be drafted before the second round is finished and by a team not named the Jags. He not only will play qb but will star. This guy is a winner with a winner's mentality. Huge upside and tremendous marketability, as we all know football is a business. Drafting qb's is a crap shoot and if i'm rolling the dice...I'm taking the guy that's going to make me a ton of money and has the work ethics to suceed, is coachable and most of all will stay out of trouble. That guy is Tebo. Want to believe the sports pundits???? Call Al Davis and ask him how that Jamarcus deal worked out for him.bobwjr

Tebo is a running QB, and not a very fast one. Yes he is a great college QB, but so was Danny Wuerfuel (or however you spell it). When it all boils down to it, he doesn't throw a tight enough ball to were it would warrant someone picking him to play QB in round 1. If I was running a draft, Tebow would be a late 2 to round 4 prospect as a QB. In the end, it is kind of a down year for QB's, but their are still better prospects on the board than Tebo in the first couple rounds. We have to remind ourselves that the NFL is completely different than College when evaluating QB's.

Also, comparing Brees to Tebow is unfair, because Brees throws a much better ball than Tebow. The question with Tebow isn't height it is arm strength, throwing mechanics, and the system he played in. Arm strength isn't everything, but your throwing mechanics are.

the one point you miss and prob the biggest.....football teams are a business and that means the bottomline is $$$$ that is brought in. Reggie Bush was never the superstar but he brings so much $$$ from his marketabilty to the Saints bottom line that he is indeed a huge superstar employee. Tebow has that "it" factor and is a goldmine in marketability for the team that drafts him and will return a huge profit. He will have so many frigging endorsements and doesnt appear to have any of the bad habits that alot of players have. Why the hell wouldnt you want him? He will be gone before end of 2nd round and i will bet any of you on that. It will not be the Jags either...they will be moving soon but that is another topic.

I understand the business of football.  I used to work in the admin side of college football.  Tebow is only a superstar in certain markets.  I doubt he will draw a crowd in NY, or Chicago.  Reggie Bush was over hyped coming out of college, everyone knew that Reggie was going start. We all knew that when he was drafted.  Tebow is not going to start next year.  Tebow is not a first round QB prospect.  Someone might take a chance on him in round two at QB.  Tebow does not have a great arm, and his release isn't that good.  He was a great player in college.  There is no getting around that.

As far as ppl going to see Tebow next year, would you pay $75 to watch him sit on the bench and hold a clip board?  I am not even sure they would do that in Jacksonville.

To be fair, Tedford QBs had a history of failure, until Aaron Rodgers was given the chance to sit on the bench and relearn the position. There is no reason that Tebow can't relearn it as well. It would take a few years though.wallymartin

Yes, but the Tedford QB's all had much stronger arms than Tebow.

Anyway, do you think they'll talk about Tim Tebow during the draft? I may not watch the draft if they don't talk about Tim Tebow for 4 days.

Also shame on the NFL for stretching the draft out for 4 days, now I can't watch all of it.

Best thing was D-Ware going horizontal to force that late fumble. He Superman'd it for like 5 yards, McSwag never saw it coming.

Ryder004

HAHA! I know. Clearly though, Tamba Hali>Ware.

dam man your worse than a girl, you hold on to everything someone ever says about you.....you must not get enough attention from your boyfriend, listen you have to sit down and talk with him and let him know that your real, and your a person and you have feelings which are obviously hurt.

as for D-ware, look he never done anything against MY team and he played a full 2 games against them. i dont know what it is, maybe i was right and D-ware is Donald Penns's b*tch.....Penn prolly puts him on check b4 the game.

 AHAHAHAHAHA! Your football knowledge is such a joke, I have to point it out and laugh. You're a hater and a moron. Look at you getting all sad, ahahaha.

lmao! dude im getting mad? i actually had no idea what your talking about the dware/tamba hali thing untill i took a couple of seconds to think about it, its pretty sad you carry these kind of memories right in your pocket and hold on to them....now thats sad

It's not that hard to remember something so ridiculous. It would be like me saying Barbie Carpenter>>Ray Lewis or for you something like Carpenter>Rudd. So ridiculous you say to yourself "WTF? What a moron!". So moronic it leaves a footprint in your memory. Stop making idiotic posts, I know it's hard for you, and it won't happen.

ok that makes sense, because i do remember the day you called Ruud a waste, made me wana kick you a$$.

but i still dont think D-ware is the best LB in the league to this day, even after seeing him play great because i believe that the greatest LB in the NFL has to have more cheracteristics to him than just passrushing

He's one of the best defensive players in the league, but I still wouldn't call him the best LB in the league, because he is a rush end.  For all intensive purposes he is a a stand up DE.  Still a great player, he's just not a complete LB.  The Dallas defense would be very vanilla without him.
