Yeah, Madden fanboys would run out and plunk down $60 bucks for a Madden 12 game case literally filled with a steaming pile of dog poo inside it. It's probably the most bizarre loyalty by gamers we will ever see for a yearly release that is most times a very mediocre to weak product. It's nuts.

The quote of the year. I got a deal on M12 and was still ripped off. Not a fan I just like FB. Its prob best to only buy madden 1 or maybe 2 a generation. I only bought 11, then big promises were made with 12 and they did not come through. I don't know how anyone rates this game higher than mediocre. New glitches every year along with weak online play. Ebay here comes another copy of M12.

No games. All systems have games I would enjoy playing. It was the price drop to $300. What made me choose Sony over Xbox this gen was the free online ($60 a year), and blu ray. When both systems are within the same price range the PS3 is a better system. Xbox online maybe better but you are paying for it yearly.

Yeah I was in this morning, and now I can't get back in. I wonder if its just work or if it was another hacker attack? Well if we all lose service and don't hear anything from Sony for 1 week then its another attack.

They really need to create a new engine for the series because the current one is beginning to show its age badly. The problem is, that would take time. If they do that then they couldn't pump out a new game every year and milk the proverbial cow dry. Nothing like running a series in to the ground.

Apparently this guy has the same perspective as me and therefore is wrong because he goes against fanboy thinking. An annual series never has enough time to make dramatic changes. It never does in video games. You can think what you want to, but making maps, a garbage single player mode that is about 5 levels long, changing out the weapons isn't much of a new game to me.

The game is good, but there hasn't been much innovation in the series for a while. Take that into consideration and add in all the CoD clones and I ll ask you this, if MW3 is just a couple more tweaks, new maps and changing the weapons will it really be the greatest FPS ever? Prob not, but it is CoD so it will be popular.

Yeah, kind of guessed that would happen. I would assume Texas, Illinois and GA might come online next. Basically if your state holds a lot of electoral votes you ll be good to go tonight. As for me I m in WI so I ll probably won't get on until sunday.

When it does come online im gonna try and get as many online trophys as I can before PSN goes down again.

You act like Blops is an entirely new game in comparison to MW2, its not. They fixed some issues with it. I am not even talking about BC2 or KZ3, I don't know why these are coming up. I just don't think dropping $ on Blops right now is a smart investment. MW3 will be out in the fall, but by all means go ahead if you want to. Though blops is a good game, my interest stop with it at 6 months. This isn't attack on the game just my assesment on it. I know you fanboys love the game, I get that, and I really don't feel like getting into to it.

Maybe the person who started the thread would like to see other peoples views on it that don't think that Blops is the best FPS ever made. To me CoD is really starting to feel like the Madden of FPS. Slight tweaks from year to year, but no real need to drop $60 on it.

How much real war experience do you have? I m am going to go out on a limb and say none. Wars aren't won by having individuals sneak up from behind each other. Wars are won by tatical battles. You must mean stealth operations, and even those have tatical insertion points, not just ppl trying to run someone down from behind. The game is ok for a while, but gets old quick. Is there a real difference between MW 2, I don't see much. The strategy level to play the game is also low, but that is the purpose so anyone can pick it up right away.

The single player is bad, the slow motion is annoying, and it is also a very short campaign. There is no way it is the best single player FPS on the ps3. I don't see a whole lot of reason to spend $40 on this now. I would try to get it cheapier or wait for MW3

You have no evidence that the game gets old quick, that's just an opinion. And saying theres no difference between that and MW2 proves you don't own the game. You're just using the same arguments on the internet. There is a huge difference between Mw2 and Black Ops, like there is a difference with Killzone 3 and Killzone 2.
