Although it was personally not my favorite, I think Super Smash Brothers Melee deserves it, because it sold more than any other game on the system, and because even today, I know of people who are STILL obsessed with that game. And I mean they play it every day. Again, not my personal favorite, but just the way people play it, makes it the Gamecube's defining game.

Graphics are defiinitely important as a first impression, but they can't keep you interested in a game, at least in my case. Example, Call of Duty 4 looks amazing, I know, but I'm just not very interested in the game. It just bores me. There's people that love the game, sure, I understand, but I'm much more drawn to Galaxy, which technically looks nowhere near as good. I played Call of Duty 4 for it's graphics, but I finished Galaxy for it's gameplay. And btw, I'm not saying COD4 is a bad game at all.

I would say that it took me around 25 hours to get all 120 stars. I don't know if I want to ruin what happens at the end, or if you already know, but there's some replay value there. And it sort of does get harder, but some stages are harder than others, so it's a little uneven. But it gets crazier and crazier as it goes. And there's a bunch of hungry lumas everywhere, and other galaxies, so don't worry. And I'm sure you're not "done" with the first dome.

I hate this new .5 scale they've been using since summer. I love the old way much better, so if it was the old way, I would be guessing at a 9.3 - 9.6 scale. The new way, it could be 9 or 9.5. But really, I'm looking more towards the IGN review.

Wow. I agree with it all, but I also can't help but be excited by Galaxy and Brawl. Metroid doesn't matter to me, and neither does Halo. I mean, I know they do this, we all do. Sony did the exact same thing last year, when it launched the PS3. They didn't care about the consumer. They said "it has the Playstation name on it so it has to sell." They overpriced it to get more $, thinking it was going tosell them all. That's not a humbling attitude at all. But they became worried, and now they're paying more attention to the consumer. Nintendo won't bother, until their games and the "casual" games cease to sell.

HEY! Sunshine was good. I don't know why people dislike it. I mean, it wasn't original or anything, but it was good. I especially liked the hidden areas that had that funky music. Awesome. This game looks much, much better, though!

Heck, I watched the Microsoft conference yesterday and was bored to sleep. this one wasn't bad at all. Of course what counts are games, and while Microsoft showed more, they were all shooters. Nintendo showed a wider variety. I mean, to me at least, Halo, Gears of War, and Mass Effect looked to be the same game with different characters. But that's just me, and I don't know much about these kinds of games.
