Even if they don't exist (which is my personal belief) it is still a good thing for them to exist because they help keep order and maintain moral values. Imagine a world in which people didn't fear what would happen to them after death...

just because something is popular does not make ti the best book series of all time....my advice....read more...lol yeah harry potter isn't the pinnacle of literature. Still I'm looking forward to the movie because I liked the fifth book a lot.
no, it's not a pinnacle of literature, but it is of storytelling, which is different. I think that's the reason for the success of these books
