In the case of Martin Gaston, just because some of your people can write quick knee-jerk feed copy does not mean you should put them in front of a camera with a respected guest on an important topic, especially when they quite obviously do not know the topic area and are surprised that anyone really cares about anything other than drooling over all the "next-gen console buzz".

Please, give him a gamepad and put him in a corner with a next-gen console demo and keep him as far away from the camera as possible - thanks.

Well, it looks like they are going to beat The Creative Assembly at making a grand scale Civil War strategy game. And the CA was sooooooooooooo close to it with Shogun 2's Fall of the Samurai... a pity that...

This is a different game, not just an expansion for CoH.

It retains the basic game play tenets of CoH, but it really plays differently.

The graphics have also been substantially updated by comparison.

Did you notice there were 6 Stukas at one point?

They already have that - it's called Team Fortress 2/Counter Strike Yada Yada.

Valve is incapable of making a Battlefield game. Valve games are like cheap chewing gum - chew the stick a little, spit it out, get another, repeat ad nauseum with the only result being that before you know it you just went through 5 packs of cheap chewing gum for nothing.

The Theater of War stuff is looking good. So glad they at least included co-op in this part.

We were, and still are, hoping for a co-opable single player campaign, since they did them so well in DoW2.

You may not like Origin, but it sure goes down a LOT less than Steam. Steam often just turns off (almost on a daily basis), taking down literally thousands of games (and shutting down all communication) forced to go through Steam to be played online or other.

We used to think it was one of us who had a bad connection or other until we started using Xfire and Teamspeak for communications instead of Steam.

Now we all know it is Steam shutting down for no given reason and not us. They should at least apologize and explain why this is happening so often instead of just acting like their server guys are out taking bong hits and not taking care of the servers until they go back to the server room looking for munchies...
