DAAMM thats the best looking total war map I have ever seen and Ive got all the games in the series. Cant wait for 9/3/13 !!!!!!!!!!
I wonder if a gamer history professor could show students the battles from this game to explain how romans waged war and strategies used. Because some of the roman strategies in war are still used today.
Finally a short glimpse of the campaign map. Wow, this game looks amazing especially for a strategy game.
Gratz Creative assembly and Sega.. you have now screwed the timeline up even more.. Carthage and Cleopatra didn't exist at the same time
@dinu i agree... play mechwarrior online instead... but please don't feed the PGI with money yet... they're in an asshole stage.... their game is much fairer though
@loneygod hopefully they'll just include it in the game right?
From Far out it kind of looks like the Campaign map from Empire, but the zoom in on the Egyption city looks amazing. Hopefully we'll get to build buildings in different slots and be able to dictate how our cities look.
@usadefcon1 lol I know exactly what you mean they actually should It for once and the cities look huge
@Aleksanian to be honest i swear iv seen on the discovery channel that they used total war 1 gameplay to show the battles but i could be wrong
@Majkic666 I don't think you get what Total War is about. This will probably span the history of Rome from the declining Republic to the Empire about ~300BC to 1 AD. A lot happened between that time including the fall of Carthage and Cleopatra. They may be separate campaigns or in the historical battles section.
I believe you're thinking of the show "Decisive Battles" it was on the History Channel, all the episodes are on YouTube if you want to check them out
