I'm playing the PAL version of the game on a DS Lite. When I play for about half an hour, I experience something weird and incredibly frustrating with the game: whenever a "spin-the-wheel" game pops up and I whole-heartedly spin, the game simply shuts off. The DS is still on, but the game has blacked out and there's nothing I can do about it. The only way I've managed to avoid this is to either play only in short bursts - which is agonising considering how addictive EBA can be - or to simply avoid spinning the wheel when it pops up, which is very bad for the Good/Bad meter and my ranking. Can anyone please help me out here?

If it helps, I've had the DS Lite for a year. The most touch screen-reliant game I have is Warioware Touched!, which I've played a good amount of. The other games I have are Mario Kart DS and Mario and Luigi, which are obviously much less so.

Every song works great in EBA, regardless of how good they are in real life. The best ones include "YMCA", "The Anthem" (by Good Charlotte), and "Material Girl". And believe it or not, Ashlee Simpson's "La-La", which I'd rate as one of the worst-written songs ever, is also pretty fun to play.

Have a long, good look at the games for Wii out now. You have? Well, Wii will be continuing all the great Nintendo merchandises, including Mario, Metroid, Smash Bros and even another Zelda game. Plus, there's original games like Treasure Island Z and Sadness that might interest you. Buy a GC game, maybe even a VC game for nostalgia.

If any of those don't interest you, I'm not sure what will.

Awesome. I'll drop into Harvey Norman sometime and see what they have.

Both games are priced at $10 ($8 in US). I've got $20. I've always been interested in "classic" adventure games like these, but I was more anticaptive for The Longest Journey, Grim Fandango and the Monkey Island series. Should I plonk down the money for both games, or one of them? Or should I wait it out and see if they re-stock the games I feel more warmly about?

This is the games section of Harvey Norman, by the way (a large retail chain that deals homeware goods, for those outside of Australia). I eyed the two games in their catalogue recently, which struck me since they haven't been ones to put massive effort into selling games and are now stocking re-packages of old PC games. They also had another game called The Dig, but GS rated it something like 4.5, so I'll avoid that one.
