@turianshepard I mean it's the same concept as an MMO. They require server maintenance and updates that kicks everyone offline. Thats the same principle here. Not a big deal
@Ravenlore_basic @djdan200 I understand Microsoft uses Azure for other things besides Xbox Live. But they have already announced that all Xbox One games will have dedicated cloud servers provided for all developers for free using their Cloud tech. All I'm saying is Sony has nothing like this under their power. This I believe will be why Xbox One games will prosper over PS4 in the future.
@turianshepard @djdan200 "While we don’t know how this technical limitation will impact players in the real world just yet, this is an issue we all need to watch closely."
Yes I have already read that story, and it's basically complete speculation on how developers will handle it. Basically, this guy has no idea what is going to happen. He is just saying, "What if developers don't know how to handle it?". There hasn't been any instances of this happening yet, so it's a stupid accusation to say games will just randomly lose saved progress in the future.
You guys all know that Microsoft has 100,000+ cloud servers ready to be used for every Xbox One title right? Which they invested 10s of billions of dollars in years ago. And PS4 has nothing of the sort.. I don't think you people realize the possibilities Microsoft has given developers for the future of gaming.. Over the next 2 years, you will
