@iandizion713: Why would you not include price??? If this same game was $100 dollars would you lower the score? Price/Value of a product should be taken into account.
@Axe_Armor @TomMcShea @defii9 I know that. I felt like the developers of the 2013 game wanted to stay true to the core mechanics of the original. Which is something I felt should be accounted for.
Look into other sectors of business. Anti-consumer practices can and do exist. It's just a method of increasing revenue. It all depends on whether or not they can get away with it, often times the consumer has no other option.
But ya it looks like we'll never know the true intentions of the policy.
The game was first released over 20 years ago. WTF did he expect? It was like I was reading a JRPG review from someone who only likes sport games. The wrong person reviewed this game.
Honestly, I wish it they didn't change their policy just so I could see how the whole thing played out. It really seemed like the whole thing was anti-consumer but I'm not 100% sure. It would have been interesting to see what the cost of games would have been + game sharing, etc.
This article was actually political. It's about improving our school systems, because apparently there are 1053 idiots out there somewhere who didn't quite make the cut.
