I think your just stupid, you asked for it.

Your playing co-op, why do you need to save the other person's progress?

haha thanks. The reason I want it to save is we play a lot of Helldivers and I just got Diablo 3 so it helps both of us if we can save his progress - especially in Helldivers.

I have never done couch co op on a Sony console until PS4, I have always used my 360, which was easy - Just create a profile (no email/password necessary) for my brother or friend and then when they wanted to join all they had to do was just turn on a controller and selected their profile. All of his save data is auto saved to the system storage.

Now maybe I am doing this wrong but so far this is what I have had to do -
- Create a profile for each person - which means entering in an email and password (basically making non PS+ account). This is annoying because I either have multiple people using the same profile/saves or I have a bunch of PS passwords and emails to remember (these people don't have consoles).

- Then every time they want to play they have to sign in with email/password.

- After we are done playing I have to save his game saves to a USB because it wont let me save it locally (it gives me a warning when turning off the console that the guests save data will be deleted).. I don't get that.

- So then the next time we want to play they have to sign in and load the USB save data to the system.

It only takes a few minutes each time but it's really getting annoying. I am aware that I can just add them as a guest without signing in but then it does not save their game saves/progress. Is there really not a way to just create a named guest account that doesn't require a sign in that can also save locally? This is ridiculous if that is the case. I am glad I got a PS4 over an X1 but this could possibly convince me to switch sides after my PS+ is up (and I'm finished with Bloodborne)...

Thanks for the help, hopefully I am just doing something stupid.

Maybe I just don't understand it.. Can someone explain? I have played a few hours and I think I'm only level 7-8. I have no clue if I am suppose to be doing missions, nor do I know where to find any. Maybe someone could answer some questions for me?

1. What do you do besides jobs..? Some of the races are fun but it usually takes a while to get into one and get going, then the race is only a couple minutes. Usually only a couple people are involved too. I haven't done much versus or TDM stuff just because I am low level and have 2 guns.

2. What is etiquette as far as killing other players? Seems like people get pretty pissed if I kill them but at the same time there is always a few people running around killing everyone.

3. Is the only way to get and keep a nice car to buy it online?

4. What's a good/fun way to level?

5. What's a good/fun way to make money?

Is online even that fun to really spend a significant amount of time in or is it just kind of a novelty type of thing where its fun on occasion? Unfortunately I don't have any friends who play video games and I am pretty new to online gaming on PS.. Any other tips or advice are appreciated. Thanks!

1. You unlock things if you level up, you'll figure it out later, don't worry.

2. Umm don't kill people except in deathmatch or something, you get money if you participate in "good behaviour" online, so thats a way of making money easily.

3. Yes sort of, you can steal some cars and take it to the mod shop and just buy the loss protection thing, there's 2 things.

4. With friends ideally, playing by yourself gets boring really fast.

5. Missions, jobs, kill-for-hire, there's lots when you level up.

Is this PS3 GTA or PS4? playing GTA online by yourself is really boring, you need to find friends for it.

Thanks for the info. I'm playing on PS4.

I'm in Texas. Let me know if you're interested. You might look at some benchmarks and whatnot to see how beneficial it would be for you. I personally don't know myself so I can't give you an honest answer.

Yea, I'm interested. It will save me the hassle of selling and buying a new gpu. Any secure ways of giving you payment? I got ripped off in a similar situation using paypal (no sale set up). No offense - the internet haha

I just replaced the exact same card with a R9 290 (can be had for around $250ish) and it KILLS my 670. My FPS in ultra on BF4 at 1440p went from about 25 to 50-60...never below 50.

Two cards just seems like asking for more heat, power and trouble imo. But I'm no hardware guru, just thought I would chime in because I just upgraded myself.

What did you do with your old 670? :)

Selling it, I posted it in a topic here "what do you do with your old hardware".

$125 and you pay for shipping....it might be your lucky day. :)

What state do you live in?

Right now I have this -

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125423

I was originally planning on buying a new/used 670 and doing SLI but apparently they are still about $250-300.. I don't have much experience in SLI but it seems like I could just buy something like this for $250ish, sell the old one and come out about even? Granted 2 670's would be more powerfull. Not sure what the market is like selling used cards however. Anyone have an opinion on what they think the best route is? Thanks for the help!

What resolution are you playing at?

That 670 should still allow you to play most games on high/max.

Still only playing at 1080p. Maybe 2 bad examples but Unity runs like hell (I know that doesn't have as much to do with my card as it does with the devs), Shadow of Mordor was able to run at high settings at about 60fps - Ultra dropped it to about 20-30fps. Regardless, I am trying to figure out what I should do once I do need to upgrade (more demanding games/higher res monitor) - maybe in the next 2-6 months. Would getting a second one of these cards (sli) for about $200-250 be worth it, or would it be a better idea to sell it for about $200 and buy a 970 (or similar card). Either way I will probably be out about $150-250... Just wondering about performance and possible issues with SLI..

EDIT - Just saw your edit on your post. That is what I was thinking with heat as well... Thanks for the input
