@Jr14: That's what I was thinking. I found a good deal on a new 970.. Hopefully when that one starts to struggle down the road I can find a second used 970 for cheap.

I almost jumped to the GTX 9 series last year but everyone said to wait till the new cards came out... So instead I bought another 670 to run in SLI.. Summer is around the corner and my room is already becoming unbearable to work in due to the heat... Not to mention the top card is getting hot - about 70c (with a single card it would get to 55-60 max) in winter.. That temp will probably exceed 80c in summer. Maybe not that bad but the combination of my room getting hot and the power consumption I am anxious to get back to a single card. Not to mention these cards are struggling to run 60 frames at 1080p on max settings now..

My questions are -

1. I'm looking at either getting a single GTX 970 or 980. I'm trying to save some money so should I wait a little longer for those cards to drop in price (maybe get them used) or are they going to stay pretty consistent for the next year?

2. Is there much of an advantage to paying an extra $200+ for the 980 over the 970? I found the 970 for about $300 shipped - the 980 is about $550..

3. Will there be much of a difference in performance between the SLI 670's and a single 970 (I only run 1080)?

4. What do you guys think is a fair price to sell my 2 gigabyte GTX 670 for?

Thanks!

I tried out driveclub through gamefly and sent it back last week and I get constant game alerts from it... I think this is bc I joined a crew? How do I stop them now that I don't have the game?

I haven't played anything from this series but I do like difficult games.. Maybe not this difficult but we will see. Which game is a better entry level game for this series? I have both and haven't played them lol. Also is the pc version of ds2 any different from the ps4 remake? My brother has a copy and I have a gaming computer that is more powerful than my ps4... Thanks for the advice.

I figured out what I was doing wrong. PS4 can handle guests the same way x360 did. If u create a user from the settings menu and then select skip or decline (not sure which one is was) it will make a user named user1 which u can change the name later. What I was originally doing wrong was turning on the second controller and basically trying to sign in a psn member.. Which I had to create... The only thing I noticed is I couldn't bring the guest with me online. Hope this helps someone.

I read that you can change the monster power in this game but can't find any info on the ps4 version. This game is way too easy, to the point it's not even fun.. I'm playing on expert mid way through act 2 and I can 1 hit almost any normal enemy. I think it's stupid that they don't let you up the difficulty until you beat the majority of the game (I think act 4). Is there any way to make this game more challenging without just ignoring new armor and weapons? I would rather just not play if that is the case.

@Bigboi500: I could be wrong but i think the only way to upload saves is if they are ps+ members.. When I turn off my PS4 after we r done playing it gives me a warning that their saves will b lost unless I save them. The only options are uploading them, which then says they have to be a ps+ member or option 2 which is saving to a USB.. Maybe I set their account up wrong. If I did could someone tell me how to set them up with basically a free guest account that can save onto my PS4? Thanks

Yeah, if saving their progress is important to them, why don't they just create their own PSN accounts?

I think that's basically what I had to do. I signed them up with an email and PW.. If that's all there was to it I wouldn't complain. However, they have to sign in every time they want to play, with full email and PW, then load their saves off the USB and then when we are done they have to save their game progress to the USB.. It doesn't take that long but it's annoying having to make sure my USB is always plugged in and not to mention I have seen the alternative on x360 - just create a sub profile with just a name and it saves automatically to the system and they never need a PW or email. I think this process is ridiculous if you compare it to the 360, a last gen console (I have no clue how X1 handles guests).

I don't get why PS4 doesn't allow a guest to save their game to the HDD...
