Advice on a wired mic for PS4. (I don't want headphones)

I've been searching for the last hour for a solid single ear mic (like the one that came with the PS4, just not a pos). I'm looking for something that is wired (unless there is a wireless usb one that works with PS4), single ear mic. I don't want game audio coming through the earpiece - which is why my apple buds didn't work. I could be wrong but I believe if you hold the ps button select devices, you can change if game audio comes out of your headset or not. I'd give it a try, since Bluetooth, single ear peace wired headphones have been in less demand. Finding a quality one may be difficult.
