Who's going to buy this thing? If it really is a powerful console it will cost $400-500. Do you think the soccer moms are going to spend that kind of dough so that little Johnny can play Mario in 1080p and 60 fps? Highly doubtful. Are the hardcore gamers going to when they already have a PS4 or Xbone and they know the PS5 and Xbox will be released a couple years later?

After today I honesty believe that Nintendo is intentionally trying to self-destruct. There's just no other excuse for their gross incompetence. They need a major change of management. That Star Fox demo was a complete joke and looked like a PS2 game.
I really don't know what Nintendo can do at this point. They could release a powerful NX in 2017 but I doubt it would sell as Sony will simply release a much more powerful PS5 just a couple years later. Also, the soccer moms and kiddies won't be out buying a $400-500 NX. Nintendo is screwed unless they go 3rd party.
As much as it pains me to say it I give the nod to MS because of BC. If MS can cut the price of the Xbone to $299 it will really start to sell well. I was also expecting Sony to drop the price of the PS4 to $299. That is the sweet spot where MS would have trouble competing.
I think they'll drop the price of the 500GB PS4 to $299 and release a 1TB model at $349. That would put MS on its knees for good.
I hope it's not more Indie crap. For a while there the PS3 was getting some great releases. I got Sleeping Dogs, Uncharted 3, Dragon's Dogma, Kingdoms of Amalur, Saints Row 3, Hitman Absolution, Ico Collection, Dead Space 3, Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, etc in just a few months. It's been going downhill though.
