Well, at least it's not a CoD knockoff with aliens.

As long as they stick with the same great story as they did in Spec Ops, I'd probably buy whatever they put out.

@KinoDaKonqueror @TheSkyrimStatue Spec Ops isn't about the gameplay. It's definitely worth getting the next time it's on a Steam sale.

XCOM Enemy Unknown was good, but I'm not sure I'm terribly interested in a shooter. Hopefully they do something interesting.

One of these days gamers are going to become smart enough to realize that they're wasting their money on AAA games made for multiplayer with a yearly sequel that barely changes anything. I could get 90% of the same things from Modern Warfare 1 that I can from 3, so why would I spend 60 bucks a year for a new one? For a great single player campaign? Sure, if it lasted more then 4 hours. But unfortunately publishers thinks the AAA generic FPS genre is a money faucet and gamers keep proving them right.

For some strange reason Star Trek as a gritty and explosive sci fi shooter just doesn't sound anything remotely like Star Trek.

Nice to see someone gets it. The portrayal of Christianity in Bioshock Infinite doesn't refelect the majority of Christians anymore then the nutjobs at Westboro Baptist do. People need to realize that. Comstock doesn't represent all of Christianty anymore then Andrew Ryan represented all of capitalists. Comstock twisted the religion to suit his own needs, the same as people have done in the past and continue to do so. That's part of what's explored in the game. It's meant to be a warning.

Thank goodness at least some devs still care about story and character for big budget yearly franchises.

Better then making a more blatant GTA knockoff, if nothing else. If only the FPS industry could figure out that new and unique twists are what makes a game stand out.
