Game creators seem to forget a very important fact when complaining about the exploding budgets and time constraints... they set the budget and create the schedule.

As much as they like to blame gamers for demanding top notch games (like thats a bad thing), if publishers spend so much money on a game that there is no realistic way for it to turn a profit, it's their own fault.

Ditto for developers who agree to schedules and then act like they are the indentured servants of the big bad publisher.

There are plenty of examples of excellent games that are made with a fraction of the people and for a fraction of the cost of the stereotypical AAA blockbuster like COD. If you have the resources and the desire to go all out, then take your time, make it something special and the consumers will reward you for it.

Would people please stop with the "I don't care about the score, I just don't agree with the negatives" crap. If they gave it a 10/10 nobody would be upset. You fanboys (and it's easy to be a GTA fanboy so no judgment there) are just mad because you wanted the game to be perfect, but face it, no game is perfect and even if every review just ignored the negatives they would still be there.

But if you use the one HDMI in for anything other than a cable box doesn't that kind of kill much of the XB1's vision?

I would be excited if the XB1 was a true all in one box that was my gaming console and receiver, and replaced (not work in conjunction with) my cable box.

I'm not hating on MS, Sony is doing anything like this either, but having one HDMI pass through is about as helpful as having a universal remote that doesn't work well enough to let me get rid of my other remotes.

How dare she say a game that I am getting (but haven't played yet) is only "excellent" and make it an editors choice! It is obviously the most perfect gaming experience that anyone has ever witnessed (at least I think so because like I said, I haven't played it yet). BLASPHEMY I SAY!!!!! SHE'S A WITCH!!!!! BURN HER!!!!! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO VALIDATE MY PURCHASE AND LIFE IF SHE THINKS IT "ONLY" A 9 OUT OF 10!!!!????!!!!!
