1. Shadow of the Colossus: If you own a PS2 or a backwards compatible PS3, you need to own this game. Shadow of the Colossus is a work of art, it's a masterpiece, I've never played anything like it. If you're PS3 isn't backwards compatible, then buy the Ico Collection.

2. Tales of the Abyss or Tales of Symphonia: To anyone who dislikes JRPGs, you haven't played a Tales game. Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Symphonia are the two best. "A fast paced battle system that keeps you on your toes." The battle system used in the Tales games is extremely fun.

3. NBA Jam: To anyone who dislikes sports game, you haven't played NBA Jam. I remember when I used to think sports video games were boring, then I played NBA Jam. Anyone can get into that game, so much fun, just in general, not just for sports fans.

i still remember paying $70 for NBA Jam (SNES)

Whats the greatest single player experience you ever had with a game? any game, any system, any year, new old

its tough but id probably go with Batman AA, the game played and looked amazing, lots to do and explore and the gadgets were so fun to use. it was a game i couldnt put down when i started playing

Demos can take up massive ammounts of space, so can those game installs. LBP's probably a big download. Don't worry about it. I bought a 500GB harddrive for $60 and it took me about five minutes to swap them out. The longest part of the process is backing up your data.

TSNAKE617

Batman was the biggest install and LBP is lik 2400mg but thats fine cause its a full game. i guess ill just delete stuff if i need to. i dont have a huge collection so its nothing i have to worry about yet

Under games, the game utility thing is that where it shows the installs? cause i can always uninstall/delete games i dont play

Games I think every gamer should play? Jee that's tough to find even 3. Since just because I love a game doesn't mean everyone would even like that genre. But there aresome games that come to mind.

Super Mario Bros. on the NES. The most revolutionary game of all time. It saved gaming in America. So this is something every gamer should at least experience.

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time comes to mind as well. Not nearly as important as Super Mario Bros. but it was pretty revolutionary as well for 3D gaming. And its cool to see where many of the most common 3D gaming trends started. Like the targeting system.

And with all the craze for First Person Shooters lately. Perhaps people should go back and check out Goldeneye for N64. See the game that showed people how to make an FPS for a console. The controls may seem primitive today. Modern FPS fans may have a hard time playing it for very long. But it's still a classic worth checking out if you get the chance.

theres games i love that not everyone else would like or need to play. the games on my list rnt my top 3 faves but certainly in my fave games list. SMB3, Batman AA and RE1 are just 3 awesome game experiences i think people should, well experience lol. theres so many games that could make this list thats y its really hard to narrow it down to just 3

By 5 games you mean downloads, correct? If you have any disc-based games like MGS4 or Bioshock, that may be the case; games like those have mandatory installs (respectively 7 and 5 gigs for those games) What games do you have on your system?0Hamburgher

all dics based, Batman AA, Uncharted 2, MAG, MOH, GOW collection, infamous and LBP (download). i guess it is what it is, i guess they take up more space than i tought. Batman is the biggest install by far

i have a 120gb slim and if i goto system info it was i have 111gb, so the 9gb is for the operating stsyem and pre installed stuff i figure.

but it says i have 76/111gb free. i only have like 5 games on it and a few demos, does that really take up 35gb's of space?

and i looked through the games and the biggest one is Batman: AA at 3287mb. kinda wondering where all the other space went

Any game from any system any year, from The Odyssey to PS3. this is personal prefference so should see alot of dif games. narrowing it down to 3 is hard but makes you think harder.

No particular order

1. Super Mario Bros 3 (NES) - duh i know, this game was the standard for platform gaming, its bacially a near perfect game

2. Batman Arkham Asslyum (PS3) - I think by far the best super hero game ever made, looks and plays amazing, so much to do, one of my favorite games of all time

3. Resident Evil 1 (Saturn/PS1) - The origin of survival horror and of the RE series, great game great puzzles and scarry as hell
