@p1p3dream: thanks for the patronising response but I'm fully aware of the cost of developing games, however regardless of that PC games have always been cheaper and there's no arguing that point. I'm not opposed to price increases but a 30% increase overnight, that's taking the piss especially as PC gamers can't sell the game on where as console owners can quite easily do so thereby robbing the devs of additional revenue, I don't see you having a dig at console owners cos they have the cheek to sell their games on ebay.
Amazon want £49.99 for Prey on PC, as much as I want to play it there's not a chance in hell I'll pay that. I've watched the prices slowly increase over the years for PC games and £32.99 was just about tolerable but not 50 sovs. I'm disappointed but I refuse to cough up that much dosh, I'll have to wait for a year or two until it's discounted on Steam I guess or the devs decide to stop taking the 'P'. I take it as a bit of an insult to PC gamers who made the FPS what it is, everyone knows the price we pay for a half decent machine, it's a shame they feel the need to allow this sort of pricing policy.
I like guns in FPS's, don't mind the odd bow and arrow effort once in a while but I'm unsure how much i'll enjoy this, I'll give it a go as I'm a fan of the series but it could be poop
I pre-ordered this years ago until about 3 months back when I realised there was no SP so that got cancelled as I'm not interested which is a shame as I really liked the last Rainbow Six game.
Man that takes me back, RE1 on the PS1, used to be able to play that through in one hit without a single save, I would almost certainly buy this again for old times sake. Voice acting sucks balls slightly but it'll still be miles better than RE6
