It would have been worth considering if SE had, instead of watering down the game play, changed this to an older styled FF like the FF4~FF10 era games. FF15 with the gameplay of something like FF7 or FF5 would have been an instant buy for me.
This is why I went ahead and reserved mine right away. My local retailers may carry some now, but I'll bet by November there will be yet another shortage...
Meh, I find Final Fantasy Record Keeper to be the superior mobile game to FFBE.
It is a LOT less grindy and it's a lot more F2P friendly (game gives you enough mithril to regularly make Gacha pulls on event banners without needing to fork over so much cash just to clear high end content), you're even GUARANTEED to get a 5-Star drop from the banner if you pay 50 mithril (the highest price for a single pull), and there's enough freebie mithril from dailies and events to do a 50 mithril pull at least once or twice a month. Even if you get a mediocre 5-Star drop, its even possible to clear many of the hardest content with the bare minimal of gear and abilities.
It also has a summer event starting up right now, if you want to give it a try, now's a good opportunity.
@IanNottinghamX I see.... Still, sony's really dropped the ball these past few years, I think they've gotten too complacent with the successes of the PS1 and PS2. I still say that if they don't shape up - their reputation will eventually end up as bad as sega's.
What they do over the next few months will ultimately decide the Vita's fate. I'm just going to wait and see, after all, the 3DS was in a similar rut last year. Now it's easily as good as its big brother the NDS.
