A headset would likely promote trash talk in a game like SSBB. Probably a headset will come out on a title in which players must collaborate with each other. The headset for the DS was released around the time of Pokemon Pearl/Diamond, it was just the perfect title for it.
I play Paper Mario on a 46" LCD, and it is playable, but not as good looking if you played it on a 4:3 CRT SDtv since the images are a little stretched out. I would not try to imagine playing on regular A/V cables (that comes with the system) since the game requires specific timing on the button presses, and without component cables you have a good chance at experiencing HD lag.
No reason to complain since we all know the direction that big N is taking trying to appeal the non-gamers. As far as the Press Conference, it had everything I was expecting and then some... yay for Mario Kart Wii!!!
The ending of the Tales games are usually unsatsifying. I hope the sequel of ToS is a reality to clearify a lot of things. Outside of Lloyd and Collette, we have to assume the endings for others.
