EA is absolutely the worst company in America. Potentially worst in the world. They are worse than gun manufactures and oil companies because of EA does 1 thing those other companies don't. EA actively works to destroy the industry it specializes in. EA is a blood sucking evil virus that will not stop until the gaming industry is dry and withered away, and they make every attempt they can to bring it to a closure or at least to a point where it's no longer profitable. Every bad decision, every bad idea, everything that all critics and gamers agree is ultimately bad for the industry, EA is determined to make a necessity.

You'd think so, but it doesn't. Have you ever seen a livestream of a professional gaming conference? They try to talk to the players and the spectators, always trying to get some trash talk and rivalries, but those people are just wayyy too laid back. They wouldn't even insult each other let alone physically harm each other.

We don't care if they're having fun as long as we are.

Also: Oreo cookie packaging 'terrible' for the industry, because it doesn't feel or taste like an Oreo. Just because Levine likes to insert nonsense about Oreo's.

does that mean big publishers are soul eaters? That would explain EA.

@carolynmichelle Ultimately, an largely oppressed group suddenly getting rights and power doesn't make everything A-OK. When black people were given rights as people or given the vote in America it didn't suddenly make everything fine. There was still lots of violence and it took a long time to get to where we are today, where there are still racial tensions in both law and culture. Maybe if the game went on for longer we would see the slow progression made towards equality and freedom, but that probably wouldn't have made for a very fun shooter game.

@carolynmichelle I think they were just showing that power is very corrupting. Even the revolution that lead to the overthrow of the Egyptian president lead to a new leader who has made very racist remarks about Jews, and has thrown a TV comedian in jail for insulting him. Even in a revolution that started as a desire for peace, democracy and prosperity turned terrible.

Yeah, I mean, they make millions of dollars and make games for a huge audience of players, but it's just not fun so feel sorry for them.

I really wish the entire star wars franchise would just die already.
