Will have to think about getting this. Usually a 7 is kind of low though i only make a few exceptions. Metacritic has this on 86% at the moment which leads me to believe that the game is still good enough to buy right away and that this review is an outlier of sorts. I'm just hoping I dont get disappointed because im was looking forward to this.

@rofluffugus: I still think they can revoke your license to play the game if you go against their policies. Even worse if you are pirating the game. Regardless, I wish they did not touch mods at all. I feel like this was one of the only redeeming aspects of the PC version of GTA apart from the graphics. Hackers alone make it bad enough. I hope with this news, we can move on to better things though.

@dantesergei: @Raidendude153 I would understand if these practices were needed to be profitable for certain smaller businesses that cannot sustain with just the retail price of games. Some games sell at a loss and make money out of micro transactions. Also depends on how the content is implemented too. Note that game prices haven't been affected by inflation over generations. All DLC is not bad. I'm not sure about the situation about this game but speaking from a general point of view.

Never knew how much people can whine about paying $60 per year after seeing the comments here. Its less than $6 per month if you put it into perspective. You spend more on a daily basis for basic needs unless you are struggling in life and barely able to keep a job. Just like anything in life, nothing comes for free but somehow gamers feel entitled to a lot of things. Dont get me wrong, there are very reasonable arguments made for gamers.

Ofcourse, I am not trying to defend Sony but just trying to think from a business perspective, that $60 dollars must be used to maintain servers and keep constant updates, discounts and other offers up plus maintain some level of operating income and profit to keep the business running after all, their other divisions are failing drastically. No one does things for charity so don't expect to be spoiled. If you all ran businesses, your main aim is to be lucrative in an extremely difficult gaming market and some unpopular business practises have to be adopted just to break even. This does not apply to all gaming companies as there some who take advantage of the situation.

@SavageEvil: You make good points and you are right, I was basing my assumption due to skepticism on future uncertainty . I suppose they could reach the 100m mark but I just was not sure if they could maintain the YoY increase 3-4 years down the line considering Microsoft has not really pushed Sony to the limit. 100m does not sound like a huge stretch but it remains to be seen if they could beat ps2 numbers. Thinking about it, I think i got a bit more perspective on the projections. Still I feel Microsoft could do a lot better and retain some of the market share due to their current position if they make the right steps and it could take a bit away from Sony's momentum.

@khanwashere: I am certain that Xbox will get better in time. I only own a Sony console and a PC but I am fairly certain that Microsoft next E3 showing will have a lot of surprises. The pressure that Sony has put on Microsoft is putting them on their heels. In the end, we will all benefit from it.

@ecurl143: 100m might be a stretch unless they really continue at the pace as they have been these past few month. I suspect the sales might eventually slow down a little bit with the scorpio coming out soon too. I think they should reach 80m soon enough though. The rest of Sony's divisions are not doing too well so I hope this can keep them steady.

@l0rdprophet: "most exclusives on ps4 suck anyway" that is a matter of opinion. There are plenty good exclusives that are probably not your cup of tea. Horizon zero dawn, Persona 5, Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, Nioh, Yakuza 0, Last Guardian, Until Dawn. There are more games coming up too like God of war, Spiderman and Days gone. I am pretty sure I missed many on the list too. Just because you may not find the games interesting does not mean they suck.

I have a liquid cool build of my own. A 1080 Ti with R7 1800x that I built just recently and I enjoy the multiplatform games on that but there are times where the games are just horrible PC ports so having a console is always an option plus I am not missing out on any other game that does not make it to the PC. I am not one of those people who dismisses the console because I know that it has a place for those who want to enjoy gaming and do not have the liberty to build a gaming PC. After all high end gaming is not a mainstream hobby, it is a niche. Ask any normal person about pc hardware and I am sure they will be clueless about it.
