@Rushaoz: Possible to build everything for around that price but I would still recommend anyone who is willing to build a gaming PC to spend higher. There is also the cost of PC accessories like a good gaming mouse/keyboard, a 1440p monitor with decent refresh rates. Not to forget a decent CPU cooler and OS.

@bdrtfm: Diablo 3 was supposed to be the last in the series as I remembered, unless something has changed since that announcement.

@hawkensha: I would be missing out on a lot of good games if I just stuck with PC and avoided consoles.

@al2ian: What else can we really expect tbh? I would like some sort of innovation but I feel fps Military shooters have been overdone to the point where it is hard to please people. I am at least glad that they did not follow the route of futuristic settings.

If the PS Neo is rumored to be releasing this year supposedly, shouldn't they already have had a Press Conference announcement on the new console? There is usually a period in between the announcement and release to build up some marketing hype for the technology and here we have only the slightest clue on what the console may be like. We have only heard so called rumors on the specs and no official indication of the actual pricing and the release date window. Many assumptions being thrown around at the moment.

@macaque12: I wish you were right but technology nowadays gets outdated much quicker than you would expect. Only way is if the likes of Sony/Microsoft get their hands on some amazing hardware specs that are somehow more powerful and efficient than what is available on PC. Unless people are willing to spend a whole lot on their consoles, they will have to settle for soon to be outdated tech. Consumers are getting very nitpicky and demanding over graphical performance in comparison to previous generations.

I have a feeling we will see both sides of Kratos. The angry and the sensitive. This is one of the few times that God of War had some emotion put into the title and I feel the segment we saw in E3 was just a portion of a build up to his story against the Norse gods. At the moment, he is settled but something gets taken away from him ( his son?) and he attempts to seek vengeance against the norse gods.

@playstationzone: Games can look even better than they are now and more people are adopting 4k televisions. Current consoles wont last for too long as it is holding technological progress in terms of graphical and other numerical performance capabilities behind. PCs are already generations ahead. I would not mind holding on to the current consoles but this is an attempt to narrow the performance gap and keep consoles relevant and attractive.

I am definitely looking forward to this though the aesthetics they decided to go with probably doesn't sit as well for me. The cartoonish aesthetics seems to set a very non-serious tone to the game. I am hoping the gameplay elements are fantastic even though , it will make up for the candyland looking setting they have going on there.

@renfield87: 8 is definitely a good score no doubt but what people expect out of a game like dark souls is a masterpiece and the score falls short of expectations. From Soft has set the bar pretty high so it is no surprise. I am definitely excited to play this game and I am hoping that it is better than Dark Souls 2 which in my opinion was the weakest out of the series. I will judge it on its own merit though this score still causes only a slight concern.
