I like the idea about replaying levels and changing tactics. Since Danny brought up RPGs, a lot of RPGs force you to choose a particular combat style that you have to level up and refine throughout the game.

For example in the Witcher II, the first time I played through I focused on the swordsmanship tree and the second time through I did the magic tree. However, like most players I had no time or interest to play through the whole game just to try the alchemy tree.

Its the same way for the other RPGs -- you play them once or twice. Even in Skyrim, (which I've played more than any other game) I never put much focus on the conjuration, two-handed, block, illusion, speech-craft, alchemy or pickpocket trees. It simply takes to long to make a new character and level them all.

I kinda like the idea of shorter campaigns in which one can try out all the options I guess.

Last I checked you still needed Bioware coins to buy Mass Effect dlc. Hey EA, why don't you fix that?

Hey guys,

great show as always! However, as a suggestion I think it would be fun to make an episode of Oblivion mods, New Vegas Mods, or even Morrowind mods as all three games have very healthy communities.

@bfa1509 The problem with Elder Scrolls Online is that it won't really allow modding so it won't have an effect on Skyrim. Skyrim still has a healthy modding community and Cam and Seb seem to be having no trouble finding creative and fun mods to showcase.

Elder Scrolls VI, isn't coming out any time soon as Zenimax won't want it to steal Online's player base. Its interesting that World of Warcraft ending up killing the single player Warcraft series.

I would be sad to see top five mods go unless it were to be replaced with some other game. Our best bet is probably Fallout 4.

It is interesting that Cam thinks that Skyrim mods may still be important after Fallout 4 comes out. If you look on the Nexus Oblivion has more mods than Fallout 3 and New Vegas combined. FOr some reason Elder Scrolls games have long been extremely conducive to modding.

As far as Skyrim becoming irrelevant because of its age, I really only installed mods in Skyrim after I'd tired of the vanilla game. Although playing a game of Skyrim with the combination of Hunterborn, Realistic Needs and Diseases, Frostfall, and Skyre is very fun, it would be rather annoying to have these mods (and their bugs) running while one is trying to complete the main quest. I guess with the exception of a few mods like SkyUI, the mods really only become interesting after one has played through the game. Therefore it should remain relevant for quite some time.
