It's kinda BS that they'd withhold the expansion and sell it a few months down the line instead of including it as a bundle.

@mwewerka: It's certainly 2 different teams porting Rise and making World 2. They can do two things at once. Actually, they spend so little money porting this that they'll make a lot of easy profit, which gives them resources to put into World 2 and the sequel to Rise.

@ghostspartan: I kind of agree with you. 30fps is not the worst thing in the world. It's not unplayable. Your eyes can adjust to it relatively quickly.

That said, the game looks like ass and there's no way in hell I'd spend any amount of money on it.

@Barighm: For real. I've seen a lot of comments of, "Barely any of the games even look next gen". Alright, well once they ditch the previous gen and start focusing on squeezing out all they can on PS5, let's see how much we'll have to sacrifice to get the 60 fps option (if it exists at all).

You can craft in the middle of combat in Monster Hunter, too. There's even a quick crafting menu in World that the average person probably doesn't take advantage of, but it's there. However, the items in this one do sound unique and I like how they are permanent. If this game is good and has minimal microtransactions, I'll give it a try.

@presidential: I came to the comments just to see how he would annoy people this time. Unnecessary cast was not on my bingo card.

If a game has a battle pass nowadays, I don't even equip the free stuff they give out. I have to shut my brain off from it all because I'm the type of person that wants everything unlocked and I could easily fall into the trap of playing the game every day even when I don't want to, just to unlock things.

So now when I play and my friends ask, "Hey did you need to complete any more challenges for the weekly", I say no because I'm not going down that road. I play just to play, and sometimes that makes the games feel lacking somehow. Most of the updates and content that gets released are just skins and more stuff to add to the store, so since I'm not following the battle passes, the games feel barren relatively quickly. Every game that feels like the game isn't the game; the battle pass is the game, has me feeling burned out.

The people who are most passionate about playing Overwatch 1 heroes are, obviously, the people who bought and played Overwatch 1--the exact group that isn't affected by this move.

This is the "F U, I got mine" mentality. I mean, yeah all the characters are unlocked for me, but I don't want to see them locked for others. What happens when the team would be better off with a certain character but my teammates don't have them unlocked? What happens when Blizzard's greedy decisions go even further and start negatively affecting my experience in other ways? A lot of people will be put off by this, and the only people that will be left are the "Dude chill, it's a free game" crowd, and they're not going to care when you start voicing your concerns somewhere down the line that the game you used to enjoy isn't as good as it once was.
