This is gotta suck for all the achievement enthusiasts out there. Forced to watch television just so you can get that last 2 out of 52 achievements. Someone hand MS a shovel so they can dig themselves out! This is not a gamer console. This is some cross media hub bullshit.
Microsoft better get their cue cards stacked and in LARGE BOLD LETTERS for E3. That's about the only chance they have left to put most of these "rumors" to rest and provide factual information about their services.
I hope this encourages Publishers and Developers to deliver an outstanding product to lessen the burden of what the consumer has to go through if the game ends up being shit or run out of steam in the following months of its release.
@Lawdog1521 @Tychobrahi True but I would think the cut is only a small percentage when compared to what the Publishers receive as they do take precedence. You're right. Microsoft makes a majority of its money through console and services. I guess when you can make money in every nook and cranny, why not.
Microsoft obviously wants a piece of the pie, that's expected. But i'm not sure about this "deletion of data". Does that simply mean the save data or removing every trace of you ever having played/owned the game incl. achievements too??
