I fail to see the logic here. Every other rumor leaked before was a heracy, just lies, just a rumor, but suddenly this rumor is an official statement, must be believed, no doubt about it!?!
The name wii u was the first mistake, it makes you think is an upgrade. Nintendo though that using the name wii would have make the console popular as the wii. It was a bad decision, not having a strong launch was bad. Nintendo needs to reinvent their strategy and start working on a new console because the wii u is a fail.
@JayQproductions @sladakrobot @TristanPR77 you forgot Knack, another exclusive title. Also, you forgot Sony is holding the best for E3 where they will sure reveal more exclusives plus Naughty Dog, Quantico Dreams and Molecule are already working on their exclusives PS4 titles.
In other words, Microsoft is doing very bad on their exclusive line up for their next console and they have to depend on paying a lot of money to third party developers to try and secure at least one exclusive game for their new console. This doesn't look promising.
It would not be a surprise since the xbox is only known for FTP games. With big games as Call of Duty and Destiny coming multiplatform for the next gen I doubt respawn new exclusive always online title will have a good reception. Microsoft will have a really bad time trying to convince their loyal fanbase already to buy their next console so I don't see any Playstation fan leaving the all praised PS4 for this.
I don't see developers adopting this except for those paid by microsoft and only a very few people will have it assuming the price is less than $70. In general, this is not a game changer.
