So Microsoft wants people to pay $500 for a console that doesn't allow to rent games or loaning, that restrict the way you can share your games and so they can collect data through kinect so theycan sell it for a lor of money to marketi ng companies.

so why they didn't make it right on the reveal? They had the time to do it right and they failed. They think that showing some exclusive games will magically make people forget about all the mess, maybe it will work with blinded fans but not with the rest.
