I've been noticing a pattern lately in all video games where specific elements and characters of one game are clearly seen on another game that belongs to a different platform company. Now the best example of this so far is from SSB: Brawl. But from what I've heard so far from the upcoming games, it seems that ideas and characters are actually cross-platforming in a way that hasn't been seen in the history of video games, such as how globalization has brought the rapid exchange of ideas, products, and trends across the world. If this theory is right, future games could look loke this:

-Gears of War 2 w/ "call-in" airstrikes and helicopters, GTA4 w/ mushrooms for power increase and television boxes for temporary invincibility, Halo patches that would allow any player to use martyrdom, MGS4 w/ Assault and Battle Rifles, future Smash Bros. games w/ fatality moves, the next Medal of Honor w/ Prestige Mode, Tekken 6 w/ a bonus stage of destroying cars, a GRFW - Ghost Recon Futuristic Warfare - w/ Banshees, Tourques, Energy Swords, Gravity Guns, and Lancers. The potential is endless with the extreme case being that every game is going to be a rip-off of each other.

What are all of your opinions about this?

[QUOTE="jangojay"]Halo 2 and Halo 3 killed it. The overhype also.. and cod4 while overrated as well was better but that's a matter of opinion. I liked halo 1 on xbox, was pretty fun. Two and three however are just average and do nothing to push the series foward. Especially 2. That of course is a matter of opinion again.death919

... 2 added online multiplayer...

Too bad that was the only reason why Halo 2 was played so much and is remebered to this day.

[QUOTE="ElZilcho90"]A terrible mispronunciation of the word "soldier" by an uneducated moron.dooly420
he was smart enough to make millions off that mispronunciation.

You don't need to be smart these days to be a millionaire.

There are bigger music bands (and celebrities) that have a greater negative influence on children and teenagers than Nickelback. Maybe they were moderately big back in my high school days, but now, they're yesterday's news.

For not having an X-Box 360, according to many people that I've talked to. It's always been "well, when Halo 3 comes out, then I'll get a 360." But honestly, how many of you have had this opinion?

Hey man, my father was born to a Japanese mother and an African American father. Were you born in Japan? Or were you born in the USA?MrGeezer

Props to your granddad for marrying an Asian woman and your grandmother for being with someone other than some white guy.

Not to sound racist, but it's just that I'm seeing a lot of white male/asisn female couples and many of them tend to be for superficial reasons:

white male: looking for a more "submissive" girl, fulfilling a sexual or lolita fantasy, or looking for a smart girl to help them with their schoolwork

asian female: the desire to "Americanize" themselves, physical attraction to the guy's whiteness (skin, hair, eyes), and/or not being attracted to asian males (or in that case, any other males other than white ones).
