All you can really do is not play out in the open. Get a TV in your room if you don't have one already. If you can't do that, then your only other real option that everyone has mentioned is switching to handheld one way or another.

I feel like they're really out of touch with most of their audience right now. I'm almost worried at this point about the next Elder Scrolls game and what kind of dumb gimmick they'll probably try to pull with it. I didn't watch their conference this year and I don't plan on watching anymore. It's just a cringe-fest and it's hard to watch, and that they're still trying to make something more out of Fallout 76 is a bit embarrassing. So I dunno... I was actually a fan of Fallout 4 but I don't expect another "real" Fallout game in a long time since it seems like they just want to milk the franchise via microtransactions (see Fallout 76 and Fallout Shelter)

This gag went way over my head when I was a kid... don't really see the big deal. Takes a bit of reading between the lines to see it as offensive. But it's hardly a significant part of the movie, so I couldn't care much less that it's being censored. It's just kinda funny that something from a G rated movie was considered "too much" and had to be removed.

I avoid watching too much footage of a game I'm really interested in because I'd rather be experiencing all that stuff myself for the first time. I get that it can be important to see if a game looks fun enough to play, but if I think I'm already sold on a game, then I'm not going to watch anything that's out there. If I really do want to see gameplay of something, then I generally look for straightforward gameplay vids that come from places like GameSpot or wherever. There are a few gaming channels I want for entertainment purposes, but even then I don't refer to such videos in deciding if a game looks fun or not.

Huh... is this specifically about just CoD Modern Warfare, as in, the first game? Only significant CoD controversy that comes to mind is that of MW2 because of the level where you can shoot up a bunch of civilians in an airport.

Anyway, there have always been groups of people that like to put blame on video games for problems in society. That will likely never change. I wouldn't really care if it weren't for there being politicians that actually want to take some sort of action against video games whether through taxes or outright bans.

GTA San Andreas first came to mind... played the PS4 version somewhat recently and I think it's held up well despite graphics that weren't even that great in its time.

And not as old, but Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Not the prettiest games in terms of textures and what have you, but I love their atmospheres.

Haven't had to pay for internet myself until about the last 3 or 4 years, so that alone is pretty expensive where I live. At least if you want good speeds. Anyway, I figure I'll mention RuneScape, which I played religiously for about 3 years. It was only $5 a month, but over the course of 3 years that's $180... I split the cost with my parents, only paying every other month. Other than that, I've never paid to play just one game online.

Then there's PS+, which I don't really consider as something I'm paying for to play online since I don't do that so much anymore. I sub for the Instant Games Collection mostly. And I usually only buy it when it's on sale, so I'll let it run out for a while until I feel like I really need it.

Only really casual stuff like word games. Though I'm really getting sick of how aggressive ads are on mobile games and almost every kind of phone app there is. Maybe nothing's changed and I'm just used to having effective ad-blockers when I'm browsing on my PC, idk.

Usually somewhere around 300GB, give or take. My data cap is 1TB, so it isn't a problem for me. But it is just me using the internet unless someone else is over. There's the option to pay for more data or go unlimited, but at a pretty unreasonable cost. And going over the limit results in a $10 fee per 50GB over the limit. Don't really have any viable alternatives so this is what I get lol, but it could be worse. At least I get the speeds I pay for.
