@mattwoahyeah: No they are not. The game got 75% positive reviews. Which is in line with what it's worth. Roughly a 7/10. A good but not great game. The game has plenty of positive but also a lot of negatives.

Not liking something is not crying for attention, stop complaining about people having opinions.

For me it's the constant loadings. You have to travel a lot and you can't do it without loadind, so you can't just roam and explore and do quests outside of the planets themvelses, which really don't have a lot of content at a time.

This kills the immersion, and it's really annoying after a few hours to watch thsoe transitions and go through the loading.

@godofheck42: That's a lie. I just went through close to a hundred negative review on steam and none mention pronouns.

A lot go through a lot of details of what bother them actually.

@phili878: Youèdon't get many quest in one place unless it's a station, or base. So you have to move from places to places a lot and you can't naturally roam. So you always have to be loading, always have those animations, it really kills it for me.

I know I can remove the animations, and I did with a mod. But it didn't fix how I felt.

I disagree with your statement that if the first show was woke it would be fun. If it was it would not translate with just the loss of some jokes. It would impact the feel of the show, the daring of the writers and not to forget new special scenes to show the characters are woke. it would not be the same show. This is what made Space Force fail. They tried to do an office with "space force" but had to be "modern and woke". And well. We saw what happened.

I find Starfield to be a nice game but it's killed by all the loadings. It destroys the exploration and immersion and you always have to zone constantly.

That said it should be noted that Starfield is also on the game pass and that might change the numbers quite a bit for pc players.

Cyberpunk 2077 is on EPIC, while Starfield isn't, I think. But well, that probably has little impact on the total amount of players.

It won't work For it to be good you have to leave all the woke crap behind. And it can only be diluted weak stuff because of all of that. To be fun you have to be able to dare offending people. That's what made the first office great.

But the closer we'll get to the release the more you'll hear about strong female leads, representation, reworked for modern audience and all the usual talk.

First thing, this is really bad and scummy by Unity. This also applies to PREVIOUS released games, meaning even games that were published under the previous contract are now impacted which I am not sure is legal.

BUT while I am sorry for the many indie devs that will suffer from this, I find it funny that many of those devs that use predatory practices are now finding themselves o nthe other shoe.

Now, to anwser some questions in the comments, demos, games sold for charity, non monetised games will not be impacted by this. But devs will most likely have to justify every copy sold which will be a pain for them.

Install and reinstalls used to count as many copies, the guys at Unity have now said that this will now just count as a one copy. No word on pirated copies but they will most likely count in the total.

Well, it's nice to see they don't sugar coat it too much and don't push the blame on players. They admit what's wrong and are in the process of fixing it. I can at least respect that.
