If you consider the creatures that are created in the arena in FFX, then Nemesis hands down!  But if you are talking about bosses in general, then Bizarro Sephiroth (only if you are able to get the three party system when you go to fight him and you hope that the party that wins is your pwered up party), followed by the final form of Ultimecia, and lastly Omega from FFV because he was the only thing I couldn't beat (that and Shinryu).  Kefka earns an honorable mention because I couldn't remember the order when you have to choose your party and I invariably picked the weakest first.

Cheers!

I've noticed that with each progressive system, there are three Final Fantasy titles on it.  For example, on the NES there were FF, FFII, and FFIII.  On the SNES, there were FFIV, FFV, and FFVI.  On the PS1, there were FFVII, FFVIII, and FFIX.  On the PS2, there were FFX, FFXI, and FFXII. (all of which are in the canon and not sequels or spin-offs).  Going along that theory, by time the PS4 comes out, we should be seeing FFXVI, FFXVII, and FFXVIII.  Of course that is assuming the series goes on the PS3 as FFXIII, FFXIV, and FFXV.  Again, it's something I've noticed.

Cheers!

I can say that without a doubt in my mind, I'm old school.  I have always preferred the NES/SNES generation Final Fantasies, but I think that it all has to do with how early you got in on the series.  Most people that I know that started with the newer titles only like the newer titles.  On the flip side, however, some people's favorite title is the first title they ever played (for me it was VI).  I am I guess what you would call a veteran.  I tend to swing to the N-Generation of Final Fantasies as opposed to the S-Generation.  There is nothing wrong with either end of the spectrum, but there needs to be more unity and equality where the series is concerned.  Final Fantasy is undoubtedly the most popular RPG series out there and all games in the series need to be given the same spotlight.

Cheers!

Ya, I don't think there gonna make a FF7 remake. Just cause FF7 Advent Children came out and the PS3 demo doesn't mean they'll remake it. They already have a FF XIII in development so i wouldn't count on it. Not untill really far into the future at least. Just for some info they did remake FF III. I can't wait!:lol:Clidus

Totally agree!  Just because they tease us with something doesn't mean jack.  I'll only believe it when they make a formal announcement regarding the go-ahead for a full on remake of FFVII for the PS3.

Cheers!

I would love for there to be a compilation of FFVI, but then again, Square Enix would have to actually have to respect all the old-school gamers they have in their fanbase and we all know that'll never happen.

I like it actually.  I think it's a departure from the norm.  It is vastly different from what I had expected.  It's nice to see a Final Fantasy character get a brand new treatment as an action star as opposed to a sideman to a guy with a disproportionately big sword.  Kudos to Vincent!

I will say that the controls are a bit dodgy, but as of now that's the only gripe I have.  I really like it.  I was surprised with just how the FFVII world has changed since I played the game years and years ago.

Cheers!

I'm totally old-school.  FFVI is my favorite game of all time!  I loved FFV for the Faris plot twist.  I loved FFIV for the fact that you had Kain the Dragoon!  Oh, BTW, nice Edward avatar!

Cheers!

I prefer the old school graphics to the newer glossier graphics mainly because if you're in a dungeon and you are trying to find something that is quest or story related and it's down a certain hallway but you can't see it because it's being obscured by something else, it makes life difficult.  I do think graphics in some part affect gameplay, but it's nothing I can't deal with.

Cheers!
