Another thing that kills me about selfish "me me me" robots like the TC ignore the fact that much of the inner workings of our society are already socialized. Do you complain about paved roads, police and fire protection, EDUCATION, medical/medicaid (at least in california)? Do you complain when the National guard is called in to help out in the case of a natural disaster? NO? then your argument against socialization and tax dollars to help the less fortunate falls flat on its ugly face. Free your mind and be kind to your fellow human, the alternative is nothing anyone is prepared or willing to accept, no matter what line of the political divide you fall on.

I have a problem with this, a few times this year I have struggled to pay rent on time, pay my credit card bill, even eat. I'm sick of supporting other people when I can barely support myself.

huh, where do u get that from, fox news?, the highest percentage gos to military and its over 25%, which is absolutley rediculous, and another 20% goes to our debt, where about 3% goes to education. health care does get the third amount but that has nothing to do with welfare

It should all go to protection you tool. Education should be private, welfare shouldn't exists, universal health care shouldn't exists. And either way, your facts are wrong. We spend more on social programs than anything else.
