Anyone have the liyrics or music sheet to the song played throughout the trailer? It's been haunting me in my sleep. I need some closure.

[QUOTE="DRUNK_CANADIAN"][QUOTE="fs_metal"][QUOTE="DRUNK_CANADIAN"][QUOTE="fs_metal"][QUOTE="DRUNK_CANADIAN"]

[QUOTE="terran3999999"]P.S: Nobody has ever played Parasite Eve?! Now that game was godly, too bad I thought DoC will be like that...now I will tread Crisis Core with caution. fs_metal

In regards to ur first post....What was wrong with Tidus? I mean the majority of the lead characters are weird..what made Tidus so bad :P

Also on the topic of Crisis Core, I am totally pumped for it, but how do you think they are going to the gameplay? will it be freeroam? or a mission based style like DoC? (mission based blew)

He was the whiniest one of them all. I wanted to punch Tidus in the throat. I frickin hate Tidus. What happened to cool lead characters like Cecil who **** slapped whiney characters

Well i don't know how you can justify him being one fo the whiniest characters....but his emotions were definately awkward along with his personality, hes saying he hates his dad all the time, he talks liek freaking yoda sometimes (his grammer is more backwards than anything :P) but overall I didn't find him too bad, since my opinion of all the lead characters in all the FF games is weird, the only individual i believed retained a strong character was Squall ( i can't spell today sry) since his anti-social loner type character was constant, and he pertained to this character throughout unlike Cloud..who one second is mr. Cheery and enthusiastic, the next hes pestimistic and all "badass"

Some fo the strongest characters of all time i believe are Auron firstmost....I am sorry but he alone prolly made FFX as great as it is... although they limited his role in the story significantly, Vincent from FFVII who was an individual attempting to cope with his sorrowful past and regrets in love (he personally is my favorite character ever), and Vivi who conjured the most dire question of all humanity "Do we really exist, who knows maybe we don't" he handled the concept well, and took an innocence approach along with self discovery, unlike Zidane who was an SOB and sort of ruined the uniquenes to Vivi's scenario....these three compose my strongest characters of the entire series ever, they are the most memorable in my opinion (Vincent almost had a bigger story than Cloud, and Vivi certainly had a better/more depth to his story than Zidane, and Auron although sorta a shadow on the story, he was just pwnage :P)

The best lead characters are Zidane, Cecil and Terra. Cloud and Squall suck. Tidus is the worst FF character of all time

you know this is opinion..therefore we will never come to a conclusion however it turns of popularity main characters such as Cloud, Vaan and Tidus are the best, and people vote this on majority..your just "special" or :"unique" in your opinion...and unfortunately i have to respect that :P

There are millions of fans of Cecil and Terra all across the world. How am I unique?

Apparently, you don't take notice of the rest of the world much. The majority has been well established and it's remained the same for quite some time now. And it's pretty much the opposite of your ideal picture.

Everyone will have thier own favorite characters and their own detested characters. There will always be someone with a different list or a person who loves a detested character of yours. And they will never, ever be wrong. Your word is not law. So stop stating things like they are facts, they're not. Your opinion is yours, and yours alone. Some people will share the same opinion with you to a certain extent, some will share the exact opposite. You cannot convince them otherwise.

Judging from your post count, I assumed you would know that by now. You like or hate things because that's how you personally feel about them, not because they are the best or worst. Such words when applied to topics such as these, differs from each person. The minds of each beholder, view and percieve these subjects with thier own unique point of view. They have the absolute right to hold on to these viewpoints, therefore they should not nor could they be swayed. Matters such as these, are illusionary and abstract.

We come here on forums to share and discuss our opinions. Not to state to others, what you believe to be the absolute.

This topic asking for types of weapon or a specific weapon from Final Fantasy altogether?

Either way, I would like to wield the LionHeart from FFVIII or the Ultima Weapon from FFVI.

I think Final Fantasy is cursed when it comes to anime. Both of them failed. Maybe, if they produced it with the quality of Last Order, then maybe it wouldn't have done as bad.

Another movie? An original movie would be nice but a little more true to the essence of Final Fantasy would be much appreciated. A movie-based on an existing Final Fantasy game? That would be difficult in both adaptation and selecting which one to do. If pulled off correctly however, it would be quite awesome.

Basically there are three main reasons why companies do this.

1) Outwit the Competition
So other companies don't steal thier ideas and then implement them in a rushed and unsatisfying game? SquareEnix takes a long time producing it's Final Fantasy games. That's a huge void in time for someone else to steal the spotlight.

2) Build the Hype
From a marketing persperctive, it's not wise to reveal all the eggs in the basket because by the time the game is actually released the hype has died down. People jump up and down at every bit of new facts and footage, but eventually that effect wears off and the general masses move on.

3) They don't know
Yeah, you see... most games in the end aren't always what was originally done on the concept board. As production moves along, things change. For example, if you ever looked at the early trailers and concept art for Okami, they look quite different from the end product. Or how about Halo: Combat Evolved? The game was originally planned as a real-time srategy game but now as we all know, it became a first-person shooter. I could also go on about how Devil May Cry was originally conceived as a Resident Evil game but I think we all get the idea. The bottom line is that companies don't want to release information that might be proven false later on or state features that won't be implemented. Even characters and plot can change throughout production.

A bit, but they're a long way off from each other overall.

If someone takes the whole SquareEnix corporation hostage by some FFVII diehard, then yeah it might happen.

I would love to fly the Ragnarok. I even have a model of one. It's design is just so sleek.

Here's some statistical information of the airship:

Ragnarok
The super high mobility flying ship.

Weight

2,850 tons (without propellent, charge nor occupents)
3,134 tons (with one third propellent, full charge, and full occupents)
3,450 tons (with full propellent, full charge, and full occupents)

Length

108 meters

Width

77 meters

Height

54 meters (landing), 65 meters (flying)

Personnel Capacity

A crew of 4. Plus, the ship is able to carry about ten more occupants.

Armaments

609 mm charged particle cannon
152 mm multibarreled laser x2

External Equipment
A pair of manipulator arms.

Maximum Speed

11.8 km/s (The second cosmic velocity, which can launch a rocket into space.)

And yes, now both FFXII and FFXIII makes me think of Star Wars.

kinetic-core

Yeah, I was really surprise by how eerily similar FFXII is to Star Wars in some ways.

Here's the allusions that came across me:

Balthier / Han Solo
Fran / Chewbacca
Strahl / Millenium Falcon
Atomos ships / Tie Fighters
Ashe / Leia
Imperial soldiers / Imperial Stormtroopers
Nethicite/ beam of Deathstar
Resistance / Rebel Alliance
Archadian Empire / Galactic Empire
All other races and monsters / All alien lifeforms

from the anime Last Exile:

Vaan / Claus
Penelo / Lavie

Of couse, this is in no way to suggest that FFXII is ripping off Star Wars or Last Exile. They are so different from each other, that they might as well be on opposite ends in a galaxy far, far away. Still, they are some relations you can make out between them though.

But... why did they need to change their art style even for the CGI? Is it because of limitations of the flash card format or the DS hardware? As far as I know CGI movies just takes up space, doesn't require too much l337 hardware to play those.
