The result is that some people believe that the project has been cancelled or has been hitching on some serious problems, which leads to a bad impression. On the optimistic side, people believe SquareEnix really wants to make up for FF: DoC and prove that the compliation package of FFVII does not suck, and that the delay is an indication of some serious overhaul, design, and fine-tuning.
Personally, I do have interest in Final Fantas VII: Crisis Core, since I plan to get a PSP for Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, as well as for some other games. However, the magnitude of the interest I have for it, isn't great enough to be stuck in my head to the point where I would think about it on occasion, like I do with Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy versus XIII. Overall, I pray for the latter optimistic side.
Until, Squeenix can properly answer that question, I'll just assume they designed Yuna(X-2) from the ground up independent of and with disregard of any feelings and mentality of the original Yuna, all for the sole purpose of fan service(read: sex appeal).
It's not unexpected for the persona of Yuna to have changed over the years after an event like that in FFX. The new upbeat and cheerful spirited personality maybe a bit of a stretch, but was still albeit believable. However, they went too overboard in trying to portray that new persona with her new image. I didn't mind the new hairdo or the attire for the torso, and the half-skirt(or whatever it's called) was pretty symbolic as it represented the change of her persona. But, then when I get to the hot pants, it caused me to raise my eyebrow in question. If, Squeenix, really wanted to display her image and personality correctly, why not use something like a pair of jeans? A tight-chic pair of jeans would have been much more effective, as it would have portrayed the persona of Yuna(X-2) with full effect, without the downgrade appeal that comes hand-and-hand with a pair of hot pants.
So that leaves me to wonder why Yuna was never put in a pair of jeans... Oh wait! ...Now I remember... apparently, SquareEnix forgot girls could wear pants.
Ritz, isn't qualified to be in this league. Maybe a juniour league or something will suit her. :P
Seriously, Ritz only got here because she got the easiest bracket.
Can Garnet summon her Eidolons quick enough before Tifa lands a Final Heaven on her?
Well... my vote, says the odds are against Garnet.
