Since most games include an automated checkpoint system and regenerating health I think it's safe to say that the basic modes in most games are a bit too easy. That's why most games come with extremely challenging modes and side content to satisfy the punishment hounds (such as myself). One of the best examples is Gears of War. When you bump the difficulty to insane you very quickly realize how invaluable cover is due to the fact that, when you go down, you don't go into a last stand mode but instead are treated to instadeath. Some games messed this concept up, though. Fallout: New Vegas is one of the worst offenders. Hardcore mode is just needlessly obnoxious.

A few. The one that comes to mind first is Gotcha Force (GameCube). The game got a 5/10 from GS but it really was a lot of fun. It was repetitive but the sheer number of collectable borgs and the insane multiplayer made it worthwhile. I'd love to see another Gotcha Force come stateside for the Wii U with online multiplayer and the ability to trade borgs and borg pieces.

Yeah, I did all of that right save for putting the HDMI's in the right ports on the receiver. I got it straightened out, but thanks for the help.

I've been trying to hook my Wii U to my surround system so as to get the most out of Assassin's Creed IV, but right now I'm only getting sound and no visual. What am I doing wrong?

Will do. As I said, I'm not especially competent with design, but should I find away to make this happen I'll certainly let you guys know. I said before that you guys do great work and I'd like to give back pointing you in the direction of any additional resources,

That's pretty cool, Omit. Is there anywhere that you know of where I could get my requested background done? Unfortunately I'm not terribly competent with editing software and I'm also very impatient. :P

Ok, guys, this one's gonna be a bit more of a challenge than the banner I asked for a few years ago (my name surrounded on either side by Law, Yoshimitsu, Akuma and Liu Kang). This is for my background image, so keep the optimum size (1460 x 500) in mind. I'd like a collage of old school characters (preferably their original sprites, so nothing passed SNES/Genesis and GBA) surrounding my SN. The background is up to you. Thanks in advance, guys. You folks do some awesome work!

How hasn't somebody from the site replied to this thread yet? I'm having the same "choose a valid format" issue, and the ability to show my collection is one of the things that drew me to this site eight years ago. I like the overall look but they need to get on the streamlining ASAP.
