[QUOTE="Panzer_Zwei"]^ I don't see what's so confusing about it. If the game is made by western staff, it is a western game. Regardless of it the parent company of publisher is Japanese.
There's very clear differences in Japanese and western game programming styles.

How? How do you know that there is not a western nation that programs in a style similar to the japanese? Do they not count? What about the times were a japanese publisher will just slap there name under the development label on a game info site like this one, but it was made by an american studio owned by the company? Do you know how many people think Dead to Rights is a japanese made game? Also don't forget the majority of the other points I made. You're just running in circles over a simple matter. If it's made by Japanese staff it's Japanese, if it's by western staff it's western. It cannot be anymore clear than that.
If people think that Metroid Prime or some other game is a Japanese game, then it's their mistake, but that doesn't change a thing. I mean, if someone doesn't care or haven't a clue about the people involved in making X title, then why would you even answer this thread?
And I don't know any other country in the world that develops games like the Japanese. Even when they're imitating them Hell, there's a whole lot of Japanese IPS that are handled by western developers these days : Golden Axe, Castlevania, Contra, Silent Hill, Lost Planet etc. None of them resemble the Japanse programming style in the least.
