Sony have a flagship title which sold 10million on ps3 this gen , the install base is there but what incentive does a Gran turismo fan have now to purchase the upcoming ps4 when they can hold out and play GT6 on ps3? I say this because this is Sony's most successive exclusive since the ps1 days and given that they were in a financial loss throughout the entire gen, they need titles that can move units at launch and a next gen GT would have done just that.

Remember Sony have yet to announce the price of the ps4, so if it was a bit expensive it would be a more justifiable purchase with GT6 on ps4. On top of that when you compare GT4 coming out it was a year before the ps3 was released not the same year and release window as GT6 and ps4 is. I almost forgot the ps4 is not Backwards compatible so you are forced to play this on a ps3 unlike GT4 which could be played on ps3.

The fact that this is on ps3 and not ps4 is disappointing since it means a true next gen Gran turismo game will not be coming out till like 2015

The only reason I'm watching this is to see if Microsoft have the balls to announce 'online DRM' or no 'used games' with an explanation in the space of 1 hour

They should have released Bad company 3 for next gen and then BF4 afterwards like they did this gen. It's too soon to have another instalment this tells me that the leap in game improvements not just in graphics but gameplay will be marginal.

Battlefield 3 was the last EA game I bought, and it will likely remain that way.

What I want people to take notice of the most is that this type of approach to their games more specifically GTA games is the reason why sandbox games as whole have been great in quality. You see when your at the top and most dominant like GTA is it's easy for devs and publishers to take the foot off the pedal and lose track of what got them to that spot in the first place. But T2 and rockstar continue to push that boundary that critics said could not be broken and continue to find ways to make amazing games. This forces other devs and publishers to step their game up if they even want a slice of that money, and in return we the gamers benefit. Look at sleeping dogs, saints row and watchdogs you honestly don't think the standards rockstar set with GTA currently and in the past didn't bring out such amazing games like those? It goes to show that being a copycat isn't a bad thing as long as that bar is being pushed towards innovation and not stagnation *Yes I'm looking at you Activision*.
