You decided to take a shortcut. You took Gears of War 3, half-arsed a few measly tweaks, made every level of the game a simple re-arrangement from a previous level, and photoshopped the word "Judgement" over the "3".
From what I read, I sure hope Dean Hall has some serious experience with high-altitude alpine climbing... it's serious problem these days with people paying the $60,000-or-so to sign up with a guide to climb Everest with not a clue as to the mountaineering logistics involved. Basically, people pay the money just to have themselves dragged up there by the guides who do know what they are doing. They get into traffic jams near the summit, are told if you are not up there by 14:00 you turn around -- and no one wants to turn around at that time. And people die because of it.
@mrsniper83 Yeah but the sad thing is haters will eventually put enough pressure on the game developers to stop making content for the players that actually want it.
@emperiox At least we have a release date... ya know, I never really believed in "Q2 2013" it just was too close without an official release date, so I knew it would be later on.
@emperiox Whoa, cool it. It's people like you that's really hurting my passion as a gamer. Maybe you should watch an eSports match for once and note how differently they play the game as opposed to one that plays it for fun. eSport pros have more of a life than you think, they go out and exercise, and one professional Super Smash Bros. player even was on Survivor. Basement dwellers live off their mom's coffers. Professional gamers can make in excess of $50,000 a year, which in all likelihood is more than you make.
Don't worry EA and Maxis, I'm literally hooked on the game when it's working properly. You won't lose me as a customer at least for now - all those who gave up on you guys due to an issue that's almost resolved by now have no idea what they are missing out on... what are they waiting for - SimCity 6000?
